I guess it was another good day for market. I think there is more "Important" news that could be hitting us soon. Maybe from Fed?? Gotta check it out!

Finally looking at charts again. Considering putting some $$ into the F fund. I've never cared much for this fund, but I may move 40 or 50% in tomorrow while I wait on equities to move down for a possible buy before month's end. Looks like we could have a drop soon, but will see if equities catch some more wind!

Good Morning!!! Briefly looked at charts. Its meandering along... decided not to move into F fund as it looks to be in downtrend. Waiting for the next strategy indicators to hit for entry. Might be next month at this pace. :rolleyes:

I noticed that drop this morning on the intraday charts... wonder what that's all about???? At work, so don't know what is going on.....

I've been out and about some...went to swim at Hamilton Pool near here this past Thursday... so beautiful. The water dripping from the stalactites (on top rim) is very cold but the water in the pool and coming off the water fall is sun warmed and not as cold. Its a 1,000 drop hike down into the ravine to get to this swimming hole. It was once an underground cavern that collapsed and so now it is just fed by the Spring water dripping and running into it.

But I am Kinda of bummed about not being in the market. But the bright side is that I have been looking at my strategy more closely. But the more I look at it the more I like my entry strategy but not my exit strategy as I get out too soon. Also, looking at using Weekly charts a bit more.

I think the market continues up for a bit longer. Scared to get in it since it is sooooo high. But looking at the daily and weekly charts for C fund... Wow... the Bollingers are so very contracted right now. Looks like more huge moves coming. Hugging the upper BB so ....hum.... while my entry point has not really hit (because Slow Sto is not below 20 yet), I am still debating on an entry based on Weekly Charts. Will see....

Check it out for C fund (Weekly chart) - I like th the 10, 20 and 50 week EMA lines are all sloped up, the MACD is positive and is still climbing. While Slow Stochastic is way up there and must come down, historically, you can have that go up and down for a time and still be climbing. But we all know what typically happens in Sept/Oct and sometimes in late August .... so beware.

Here is the C fund (Daily Chart) - Can definitely see the super contracted BB on this chart. Again... all EMAs sloped up. MACD is negative but holding steady.. Slow Stochastic is up there. Hummm.... just don't know which way this is going to break. I tend to think it will break up for at least another week or two... but that is just a guess.

I can appreciate your concerns about entering C,S,I right now. I'm in a holding pattern as it appears we are pretty toppy right now. Hanging mostly in G & F waiting for a pullback that may not happen for awhile.
 
Agree Hotwings. Just wondering how quickly the contracted Bollinger will take to bow out. Price is about to explode... just not sure which way. But doesn't seem like there is much news out there so it might go up more. Not much to weigh the market down.... or so it seems.

P.S. I love your avatar... makes me want some wings with blue cheese and a cold Dos Equis!!! :D

Oh yea! Love that song with the All Star line up. The last time I viewed it a couple days ago, I think I saw Elton John on piano near the end of song.

So, I am contemplating entry to F fund. Really do not like it. Kinda close to deadline. Will think on it more tonight and make decision tomorrow. Parameters really have not yet hit for that either... I probably should stay out a bit longer. Will see...:rolleyes:

To be honest with you, my head is just not into financials lately. I usually love reviewing charts but not now. My Son is heading back to college in San Antonio and its a bummer for me. He's partly moved, and this coming weekend is the full move in.....So sad. :(.

Not too busy at work now, so I will likely go to visit friends on a short trip at the end of August. Yea! That's a start in the right direction. Plus I always have my karaoke and poker buddies. This past weekend I got to sing 5 songs at a girlfriends karaoke bar BDay party... Let's Stay Together (Al Green -awesome..love it!!), Killing Me Softly (Robert Flack version instead of more modern Fugees version which I also love), Last Dance (Donna Summers), Before He Cheats(Carrie Underwood) and the most fun and funniest was Lady Marmalade Moulin Rouge version (sang with sister and 2 friends). Okay... so something to listen to this evening.... easy listening.

Just love it so much....but then again... who cannot love Soul!!! And this lady has soul and awesome pipes... definitely has it....
I like singing some of her songs too but haven't sang them recently... hum......
