DreamboatAnnie's Account Talk

KK: My son's wedding is tomorrow in Vegas. He's tying the knot at Vegas Weddings. What an appropriate name for the chapel. :D We're headed up in the a.m. Looking forward to having a blast with family and friends. Glad you had a great time! Temps are sizzling in AZ. Hit 108 today and expecting 116 on Saturday before the cool down next week back to the high 90's.

Congratulations to your son! Have a great time in Vegas! Stay cool in AZ....ugh! Those temps are miserable. Head over to the MGM and float around the Lazy River.

Glad to see you back, DBA. I hope you are well rested..and ready fro some action
yes i am!

Well... Jumping in 50%. 20S-15C-15i . Yes...late to the dance and don't much like it. I should have entered last week, at latest on Friday but I hesitated and a bit scared!!!! Still am but now I'm just mad I didn't enter when I hit my buy signal. Hopefully I don't get burned. Will see....

Hope your having a great day, and Best wishes to you All !!!!

P.S. Got my 40% out of F fund and moved it to G so now at 50% G.

Here are some 1-year CHARTS for perspective.
AS of COB today, C fund price has exceeded the Oct & Nov highs and about to reach the July 2015 top of the current downtrend. Very interesting. But can it break through???
MACD is still in positive territory but just slightly heading up. Bollinger Bands are bowed out and price is in that awesome 10-day EMA Channel.

As for the S fund, wow.... MACD is definitely sloped up and looks to be going further. BBs very bowed out and price is in that 10-day EMA channel, so it still looks promising. Price is closing in on the Oct & Nov highs but has a long way to go to get close to the July 2015 high.

The I fund is in a similar situation with MACD positive, price in the channel but its still a ways from hitting any of last year's highs. So does that mean it has the most to rally up???

Of course what goes up must come down. I think its not going much higher, but I will be looking for an exit. I would not be surprised to see a slight pull back tomorrow, but anything can happen. I have observed that the market usually gives a little indication before it falls out of that upward channel, provided a major event does not affect it short-term. Will see how this goes. I am still trying to nail a good exit but will see how that goes.....

Been thinking about why the market is going up right now. Seems there is so much information out there on the economy, etc that is not good. i'm not even sure the Fed rate thing is as big a deal at this point. I heard one commentator state that lots of people are getting into equities because of the low sustained rates in bonds. That makes some sense, but I do not know. This is so weird. Waiting for the hammer to fall.... but when???? Will see.... I'm eyeing the exit door... foooorrrrrr suuurreeee.

My very rookie view on the S and C charts looks like a couple more days of run then a pullback. I'll probably exit tomorrow then buy the dip. BUT, we have the FOMC and Brexit coming up in the next 2 weeks. What will that play will that have on the markets??

Yep..looks like its dropping but i will stick with it. Sticky pants fully employed!!! Will see about staying in ...best wishes to you and everyone!!!!! FOMC next week and Brexit the week after. I think Brexit is the big one.

Well............MACD is now crossing below its signal. Prices no longer in10-day channel..for sure. Time to double down!??? Thinking about it but most likely will hold and hope it reverses course to go back up tomorrow. Will see...

As to next week, some are reporting that the tragedy Sunday may now be having some effect on Brexit. But I also read on Saturday that for the first time British polls are showing more folks are now looking to exit than to stay. So if that is true, and some of that is now affecting the foreign markets (I fund) it seems clear the markets will be affected negatively if Britain votes to exits the European union next week.

Good night and Best wishes to everyone on your investments!!!!!!!!!!

Digging Deep---All In! Just bought in some more. Hoping it goes up tomorrow. If not, I might go negative in my earnings this year. Definitely should not be doing this but this is an attempt to buy in lower to DCA it, and hold my breath hoping the market goes up some tomorrow and the next day???? Rule was to get out when MACD goes negative, but because I got in late, well.... I am now trying to reduce the loss or lose bigger. I'm doubling down.

Just went from C15/S20/I15 to C25/S50/I25. Will see how this pans out.

Best Wishes to Everyone on Your Investments!!!!!!!!!

DBA! Go big or go home! Man, that's some intestinal fortitude there. Either a short term bottom just hit or its a dead cat bounce... Of course, per the rules, the big move up didn't show until after the noon cut-off. I'm looking for a good entry point...

Well it could just be an intestinal bubble!!! :D. Lol.... Another quick decision. I Might be okay on S and C fund. Weekly MACD still above its signal line so that is good. One good DCB and I am probably out!

But on I fund double down, thats probably a mistake as the 10 EMA has crossed below 20 EMA... That is an exit in my book. So will likely exit that tomorrow...plus with Brexit vote next Wednesday, who knows. Now looking to see what Yellin says tomorrow. Will see... Futures are mixed right now.

I think once I exit I may just stay out for a month...Time to regroup and wait for a very good entry. You did great on timing your exit last week!

Best wishes to you and Everyone on your Investments!!!!!!! :D

Staying in.... will see how this afternoon goes and decide tomorrow... tomorrow.... always tomorrow !!!! :D
An exit from I fund right now (even though it is up) would not help that much to cut a loss. It dropped pretty severely this week. Hoping some confidence returns.

Best wishes to you all!!!!!!!!!! :D
Do the opposite of what I do....

"Just went from C15/S20/I15 to C25/S50/I25. Will see how this pans out."

I and F Funds scare me! I avoid them at all costs. Requires perfect timing to execute trades successfully! I'm not that good yet. Good Luck!

Hi Scout...I think it all takes good timing. I am now screaming UNCLE. I am exiting everything to G fund 100% in hopes that I will still have a small positive gain for year. Hope it goes up a bit towards end of day. Will see. Just can not ignore that the 10-day EMA crossing below 20 and in most cases MACD is below its signal line now. So while there could be a jump tomorrow, I think fear maybe taking over so I must put a stop to that loss. Not sure what will happen with Brexit next week, but I am finished with the market for the month. Taking a breather and a little vacation. Whewww... Will look to July to regroup and start over. Dang It!!!! :notrust:

Best Wishes to you and everyone on your Investments!!!!!!!!! :D

FBN now reporting that investors are reassessing risk about Brexit. Reason the market just dropped is because they are now thinking Britain will exit.

After the killing of the Pro-stay politician yesterday, there was speculation they would stay, but now that is reversing and they think Britain will exit.

Best wishes to you all !!!!!!!! :D

Happy Father's Day!!!! Hope you dads out there and those who care for children have a restful and fun-filled day filled with peace !!!!!!!!!

Changes, changes, changes.... This market is one big rollercoaster. Wish I had an IFT. I was thinking to enter after Brexit. But you know, lots of time the big action needs to be caught before the big move.

But I must say, lots of times there is so much risk involved. As I get closer to retirement, I find it harder to take those risks. But after viewing Chris Ciovacco's latest video, what stuck out the most is that the Fed has a great deal of influence on this market. If you get a chance to view that video, please do. Its just crazy true that the FED has a huge way of impacting the market. So I understand that someone in the Fed indicated :smile:interest rates would not be increased but once in the next 30 months??????

Did I just dream that up??? I read it yesterday. Just can't remember who said it this past Friday. So with that, I do expect the markets to soar for a time now. I guess only Brexit can put a crinkle in that. Wish I had an IFT to go in. I am going to need to start really weighing what the Fed says even more heavily than I have in the past.

Best wishes to you all on your Investments!!!!!!!!!!
