DreamboatAnnie's Account Talk

Hi! So glad to see the market rally yet again!! Woo. ...hoo! Not sure if an exit is in order tomorrow or Wednesday....??? Tendency has been for up movements to be very short lived before the next leg down....

MACD has crossed positive on SPX so I think we are having a very short-term (few days to week at most) due to knowledge we will likely not have a Fed rate increase this month. As for longer term, I think I need to see daily price move into a 10 day channel and for the 10 day EMA to cross above the 50 before I believe we have seen the "bottom"!!

Best Wishes to Everyone on your investments!!!!!!!!

Yes... moved to G fund this morning. Wanted to wait until tomorrow as Wednesday's have been up days as of late, but with a 5 day run up... just thinking I would like to try to keep some of my pennies in the piggy. I still think we could have more downside but will see.... anything can happen in this crazy market!! Still ... it would be nice if today would stay even or higher... hoping not to have it slide down too much today before the close. I'm locked in now!!!!

Best Wishes to Everyone!!!!!

Not to get off topic but I took care of business!! Finally….. Meet the new love in my life!! The Midnight Rocker! Lol… I got it two Saturdays ago, but just took pictures this past weekend (Sun finally came out).

It is a 2015 Challenger, Jazz Blue (it is dark blue with metallic blue sparkles that every now and then gives off a hint of purple somehow—love it -with a high mirror finish.. had a hard time taking a good pic as it picks up everything) with a v6, ~306 horsepower – more than I will ever need… I have already scared myself a few times in it… punching it and seeing how long I could keep the pedal to the metal. I had not even gotten it home from San Antonio when a guy in a truck started revving his engine at a stop light… Of course I had to floor it--- I whole-shot him.. but I knew he wanted to see it launch. I must say I was more excited than I thought I would be.

What I love most is the plus sound system-- Alpine, 9-speaker system. Wow! I’ve not heard a stereo that great since I was a “yungun”. It figures the first song that came on as I left the place with my sister was Van Halen’s Panama followed by Boston---yes I had it blasting as loud as it would go. :headbang:

It is loaded: leather seats (red on black), Performance group with performance suspension, performance power steering and performance brakes, plus a moon roof (always wanted one of those) and backup camera, large screen, satellite radio, seat “coolers” (great for this hot Texas weather), heated seat/steering wheel, GPS, button for 911, assist, Bluetooth for phone, automatic remote startup, and what I really really wanted, the 20” inch graphite wheels with Good Year tires.

I didn’t know cars had this but when you open the door the window cracks down about 1/8” before you open it and then it goes back up automatically after you shut the door to protect the seal. That is so cool! Plezz…give me a little break if you all already knew about this… it’s been a very very long time since I had a new car.

It’s automatic 8-speed but it has the “Paddle shifters” on the steering wheel for manual shifting….Now that really makes me happy! :D Best of all... the adventures of DBAnnie have just begun!! lol  Yes... a mid-life crisis buy... but why not? Can't take it with you!

Yep...will be getting a very dark tint. Its actually darker than it looks in picture as it was full bright sun when I took pics on Saturday....but no doubt about need for tint. I used to have a 1992 25th Anniversary Camaro years ago with the darkest legal tint..cops did not like it, but I dont care...already know the procedure...roll down window before they get out of car and hands on steering wheel.. Makes them happy! :D Never have gotten speeding ticket when I do that, and tell the truth!

I'm sure lots of folks will mistake it as black at night. Happened a lot when I had a deep dark green 91 Trans Am (the one with the wing spoiler and special ground effects) many years ago.

I'm sure you know...tints really help to keep the car's interior cooler when it's sitting in direct sunlight.

Anyway...Enjoy the ride...and stay safe!

Police love giving tickets to sports car owners, based on past experience. Now that I drive a truck, they don't ever stop me.
