So it was reported China was asked to close its consulate in Houston.... now I just read that Consulate is burning. I guess they couldn't burn the evidence quickly enough. Humm..... futures so far unaffected by it... still lower by about 55 points on mini Dow. But who knows what happens as more get wind of this....:(
 
Fire not scaring anyone! :smile: So, will China retaliate in a manner that matters to the market? 5 more trading days in July...debating on reducing exposure.... Humm.. so far thinking to stay put... will see as we get closer to noon!

Tesla and Microsoft report earnings today...After the Bell...hummm....
 
Hi RangerRay...seems to be the case. Things going good in market, so far.... Earnings are scary! Lol.... Hope MSFT and Tesla do good after the bell this afternoon for good effect tomorrow!
 
Earlier today, I heard someone on FBN and also Ira Epstein mention that it's not good to be in market during earnings period. The person on FBN said it's typically a time when pros buy the rumor (of good earnings) and sell the news (when good actuals announced). I have also heard Dez on Grok trade mention it as well, over this past year. I've never really paid great attention to that, but maybe I should. Microsoft had great earnings after the bell, but stock is down in after hours trading. Curious how Tesla is doin....hummm....:scratchchin:

Here is article that describes how Microsoft stock went up after hours on good news on earnings (Microsoft beat on earnings estimates) and throughout night, but then dropped 1-hour after morning trading started. Hummm.....Buy the rumor, drive up price over night and then sell as soon as the regular Joe's start buying... eeeee...

Sticky pants deployed! :D:D:D. I would like to exit, but with current exposure of 45% in equities and my strategy parameters not violated, I am using Gorilla glue. I feel comfortable with allocation.

Good morning! I liked your posts because I like you posting about frustrations, which I definitely share. As soon as it goes up, it takes away. Good news from Moderna on vaccine has market up a but this morning.

Seeing an up day is great. :D:D:D, but must admit I feel like a wild horse wanting to bolt away from this horrid market! Get me the Hell outta here! :scared1:
Daily Ongoing debate: Should I exit or reduce exposure? I am thinking further reduction...will see...:( can't seem to find the glue this morning...ugghh... anybody got some???
 
Hey Whipsaw, I'm on post 2,978....22 more to get to the Big 3K! :D

So looked at today's charts. What a Great Day! Wish I had fully stuck with the strategy of staying in until 13 EMA crosses below 20 SMA. But I am in 20% so I get a little. Looks like immediate resistance is around 1516 or thereabouts on S Fund (highest point on wick of candle last Thursday when price rose intraday but then closed down)
. ....ugghhh ...should have posted the 6 month charts so you could also view Feb high, but we have a little more to go.... S Fund was at 1590.99 on Feb 21, the trading just before start of big drop. C fund in similar situation.
