DreamboatAnnie's Account Talk

Well.... finally had a chance to look at charts tonight. Stochastic has now clearly dropped below 80, and the MACD is below its signal line and that is increasing as reflected in the MACD histograms for both DCWPF (S Fund) and SPX (C Fund). Definitely not jumping in anytime soon as it does look like market price will be dropping more. Yesterday, SPX just barely got above the November high before dropping back down. So looks like the test of resistance failed at least on SPX---but it is really just trending sideways now. No crystal ball, but I would bet more on a drop than not at this point. Question is how much and how quickly and when can I safely get back in. The increases in January and February were breathtaking so I am wondering if a drop could be as breathtaking--- but maybe with a unexpected kick??? We will see.....

Best Wishes to you all on your Investments!!!!!!!

Well I was considering an entry today. But I guess I am still not a believer that this will break through. But prices did get down below or close to 20 Stochastic and on their way back up. But candles today that are forming are not convincing. Take care and best wishes to you all! :)

Nice day of gains...now where? 2880 is very close so that may now be a very temporary ceiling. If we hit 2900 without a bump down first I wonder if that will act as a solid ceiling? I am hopeful that this market has a new set of legs and 3000 is in the future (by summer)! Morgan Stanly is still forecasting 2750 for the end of year and I do see this as a possibility. However, I am cautious but optimistic for now.

Hello Mcqlives. woo...hooo on gains today!!!

Futures are a bit down right now but momentum is up on charts. I think SPX 2920-2925 looks like next level of overhead resistance...well actually more like 2872 looking at Weekly chart. These figures relate to the tops in late Sept and early October.

Today, the "good" news was that manufacturing numbers out of China were good and reportedly gave our markets a lift. Still wondering how China negotiations are going...and Brexit....

Best wishes to you and everyone on your Investments!!!!!!!

Just love this song. Watched a show on Ritchie Blackmore tonight that I had recorded a month or so ago.... Love his guitar playing ...and his bands Deep Purple and Rainbow... Saw concerts for both bands a billion years ago.

Really love Joe Lynn Turner's vocals in this old live performance. The song is just beautifully mesmerizing! ....Do you remember me, on the street of dreams....running through my memory....

Exiting to G fund. Going on a little trip to Vegas and would like to focus on that action for the next 5 days! lol...

Best Wishes to you All !!!!

Hey but the stock market is the casino that never closes ;) lol, have fun! I think honestly now's a good time to possibly exit for the short term. The fear & greed index is one point away from extreme greed atm.

Hi, Got back back from Vegas mid-week, last week. Now recovered! Lol. Had a blast and did get to play one Texas Hold Em tournament. I came in 3rd out of table of 7, and got to play for 1.5 hours....had so much fun. Yes, I did bluff and got away with everyone of them! :D But I really don't bluff often, as my buddies at the TSPTalk poker table can attest , but I had to because I had really awful cards the whole time...but I made them count!!!

Also, went to Ellis Island (small dive bar and casino) behind Bally's and had a great time! Went on Sunday night, hoping to sing lots, but it was packed so I sang a couple songs. I sang, Me and Bobby McGee (Joplin) and Before He Cheats (Carrie Underwood).

Got to hear some incredible singers including a guy who did two AWESOME Prince songs! He sounded just like him and had the moves too! He sang Kiss, and Raspberry Beret!!

So ...I'm back to looking at charts for entry. But not going in yet. Will see how next few days go...

Best wishes to you all !!!!!!

Not sure what happened to attachments... They were showing when I uploaded. In any case, here are 1-hour Intraday charts plus Permalinks in case chart doesn't present. I still watch daily and weekly charts for longer term perspective and entry/exit decisions

Best Wishes to You in your Investments!!!!!!!
