Crommie's Account Talk

IFT from 60% I and 40% C to 80% I, 10% C & 10% S. That is #2 for this month.

Thinking that the EU has more upside left in the tank than the US with the Greek Deal and Spanish Bail Out possibly over the weekend or next week. As long as the USD stays down it should work out okay...

Sorry for the late post... Work and an untimely phone call from the wife both got in the way.

Good Luck EVERYONE! :D

Well, I was just over at BT's house looking for a sniff of BS or at least a wall flower or two, but he wasn't home...no where to be found...:cheesy:

So, anyway, why am I still in this market after giving back 3% of gains that I just got last week? It comes down to being out of IFTs and where does one think the funds will be at COB on Nov 1st. I believe that they will be flat or higher than they were on Oct 18th or I would have gotten out then. I have been locked out too many times only to have to buy back in higher than what I sold out for. But then again May just kept on falling for what, twenty something days! That wasn't any good either. Thank you to all of you that have posted that we will be going back up shortly...it gives me some hope. I still believe that something is going to pop the I Fund by Spain and/or Greece getting a big check, but perhaps that was priced in already...
Good Luck EVERYONE! Oh, and keep a look our for Birch! :D

I was WRONG :worried:. 100 F Fund today... should have done this on Oct 18th or 23rd when I was thinking about it but decided to be stupid...I mean brave instead.

For one that has no idea what you are doing, you are doing fine. You are so far up the tracker from me, looking, my neck hurts.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks Ira for the vote of confidence and for bumping my thread. I obviously haven't been here in quite some time. To be completely honest, when yourself and others let on that you were watching my moves, I got a little scared...:embarrest::laugh: because I REALLY DON'T KNOW what I am doing! This year the buy-n-holders of the S fund rule the tracker and anyone that is either playing safe or trying to time it has been left behind. We really won't know the truely knowledgable or lucky ones until there is a....dare I say it....correction!
I have shifted my strategy somewhat this year to be less defensive, longer invested, although that bit me for a couple of percent in Feb :o...should have only played the I fund for a one day pop instead of trying to milk it for a few days resulting in giving the gains back.
Another change is that I am paying more attention to a few key members on this forum and watching their charts more closely. JTH, MrJohnRoss, Sensei, Bquat, Clester and Coolhand are must reads when they post and of coarse Tom's Daily Blog is never to be missed!
I mix what they have to say with a study of the charts and throw in a dash of the news (especially out of DC ) and then check the Recent ITFs on the Tracker around 1130, to decide what to do.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
