Anyone hear anything about any kind of BCS playoff this year?

Sure would be nice, it would certainly level the field to better the chances for every team.

OU plays Tulsa Sat, at 2:30 then they get a week off and then the big one in Miami ..So Glad the Hurricanes handed GT their asses on a platter..A good win for OU against Miami will certainly raise OU up in the rankings...By then, the Longhorns should be filling their booties with do-do, thinking about Oct 17th in so called neutral territory at Dallas.

Wooooo....Pig Sooie ! Go Hogs !! :D:D
-here's hoping my granddaughter made oodles of tips yesterday at the pizza place she works!!

Where Are They Now?

Graham Harrell. Remember him? The QB great from Texas Tech who passed for an NCAA record 134 TD's in his career and also had 2 seasons over 5,000 passing yards...

Undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft, he's now playing in the Canadian Football League for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Seeing that the Browns QB (Derek Anderson) won today with 23 yards passing and a rating of 15, how could they have done any worse? Who cashed in favors for Brady Quinn to get a roster spot? Quinn was good, but not better than Harrell.

We haven't seen the last of Graham Harrell. I'm certain of it.

Graham Harrell could start for at least 5 teams in the NFL.

Sooner fans, at leat Sam Bradford is only a Junior this year.

Ohio State just proved that they are overrated with their loss to Purdue, but they are still going to get a Rose Bowl bid.

Is Texas trying to throw this game against Oklahoma today?

you know, Them thar Hogs didn't do so bad this afternoon ! I'd a-liked-to-of-had a win, but only 3 points down from the 'gators ??!! Whooee!! I'll betcha thar were some high dollars lost today !!!!

What a difference one single missed Field Goal makes, otherwise we may have seen a little OT....Great game that an UN-RANKED team made a #1 team and company sweat this one out...

Congrats to Texas...had Bradford stayed in the game..I think there would have been a long quiet drive back to Austin instead....Great game!!

Agreed! Harrell will prove to be a decent NFL QB, atleast much better then some starters now.

Tough break for Bradford. I missed the game, well I am watching in now on the DVR. Game time was 2am here on Guam.

Florida doesn't deserve to be #1 after that game today at home (IMHO).

Alabama should be # 1. "When you're up against the Tide, You're upside down."

AP has Alabama ranked #1 but BCS has Florida #1 still. Watch out though, Boise State is #4.

If Texas Tech would have beaten Houston, TT would be in the top 20.

I've got egg on my face after a few picks from last weekend. I picked Southern Florida over Pitt, but Pitt won 41-14. Pitt continues to defy gravity with help from their schedule. Next week Pitt has Syracuse which should be a win, but then they play Notre Dame on 11/14 and Cincinnati on 12/5. I'm expecting both of those games to put Pitt back in place.

I also missed on the Michigan State game, but at least it came down the final play of regulation. That ending was a nail biter.

Ohio State only moved up one spot in the poll after beating Minnesota, yet USC stays the same for beating Oregon State. I'm sure we'll be seeing those two (USC/OSU) in the Rose Bowl, so that score will most likely be settled in real life.

How about Boise State? Will this be their undefeated season? Who could possibly stop them?

Too bad for fans of Sam Bradford but he says he's going to try to go pro in 2010. I don't see it happening for two reasons.
1. Chase Daniel, last year's QB at Missouri who many thought had a shot at the Heisman. (Where is he now? I know a few NFL teams that could use him.)
2. Graham Harrell (Probably should have been a draft pick in 2009)

I'm a Buckeye...

After a few years of career jumping, I moved to Southern California.

Woohoo...I'll get to see Ohio State in the Rose Bowl!!!!

Except now...that doesn't mean they had a great season???

Oh well...I'll put on my Buckeye shirt and watchthem anyway!!!!!

I don't know about that...Even after the Texas game last weekend, the top pick was still Sam for #1 draft choice....Look for Tampa to pick him in the first round...Stoops was working all his connections to make it happen..so we'll see....Sam gave a press conference yesterday and says he'll need 4 to 6 months to get better after his surgery today......The Timing is crucial for next April.;)
