Thanks to everyone for their prayers. He died peacefully last night. He has been in lots of pain the last few years so I'm glad he will have no more suffering. May he rest in peace.

Clester, sorry to hear about your father. My dad passed away just a few days past his 51st birthday. I still wish I had more time to share some things with him. The next few days will be the toughest but the good memories will get you through it.

I'm so sorry to hear about your father's passing, but, like you said, he's not suffering anymore and I'm sure that brings you some peace and acceptance.
My father died in 2008, and my younger brother died a year ago tomorrow. My brother's death was harder for me to accept and come to terms with, but I just
think of all the good times I had with him and my father when we were kids.

My thoughts and prayers will be for you and your family tonight, and all those who grieve for their loved ones who have passed on.

Thanks again everyone. We have a very caring group of folks here.

My first thought this morning on the markets is surprise with the rally. The gap on S&P was filled and provided little resistance. The S fund has broken the downtrend channel to the upside but S&P and NASDAQ are still a little below. The S fund is close to its all time high of 860 ish ($EMW) only 1% below it. That could be hit this morning. I will wait to see what reaction happens there. The S fund will be the tell IMO. It has 4 closes above the 50 dma and the C fund has one. Thats a big positve. The RSI indicators are not oversold yet either.

We are also close to my long term theory that mid July will start the correction but I will play what my system says. Right now its very close to a buy.

I'm not buying today. Things look pretty good but my gut is saying we've gone too far. I am conservative so take that for what its worth. I just have a bad feeling. Also, I don't quite have an all clear signal.
