That's because them bears keep picking on RUT like it's some kind of pivot point for the market direction.
What a terrible day yesterday. I have warning flags all over. During this bull market these kind of days have been buying opportunities. S fund is now below the 50 dma and I give it a couple days to see if it can regain it. If it doesn't I'll sell 50%.
The dilemma is that at RSI of 30 I get an oversold buy signal. This is the tricky part for my system. We could still drop several percent before that happens
Futures are up so you might re-gain some of the losses.
We have regained a little but we now have 3 closes below the 50 dma on on 3 indexes and most likely again today. That's a partial sell signal. With the markets closed tomorrow I will probably sell 50% today. We are still in a bull market so my system keeps at least 50% in stocks.
Looks like I might get a buy signal soon because the RSI on c and s are at 35 and below 30 is a buy. Ideally a dip below and buying as it climbs back above
I fund as well as C and S funds recovered today but they are still not buys yet according to my system. We need a close below the RSI of 30 and a rebound back above it to get a clear buy signal.I fund has dipped below 30 on its RSI. I'm not a buyer there yet but if it can climb back above I would buy at most 50% because it's below the 50 and 200 dma

We got most of the negative fair value today so unless we get it all back tomorrow it could be a good buying opportunity.
The I fund rebounded and is right below the 200. I need to see it get through it before I buy. S fund is in a solid downtrend. We are still in a bull market so I need to stay in at least 50%. I don't see the need to move my money yet but I'm not happy with S fund. Maybe I'll move it to I fund when I get a solid buy signal.European rebound today will probably negate the fair value from yesterday. We did dip below 30 RSI and probably rebound above it today I'm still not comfortable buying but my system says buy 50%. I'll decide later
What volatility in I fund! Too much for me to gamble on. I'll just hold what I have for nowThe I fund rebounded and is right below the 200. I need to see it get through it before I buy. Looks like C & S punched through their respective 50 DMA this morning and have just kept going. The question is how are they going to close. Are you going to wait for a close above the 50 before entering? Even if we do close up today I expect tomorrow to be rather volatile with the Greek vote so you may want to wait for several days above the 50. Thoughts?
Today looks like a good day to buy back in. As long as we hold the 50 dam by noon
