I agree. They will have to come up with an agreement. Usd is a big issue too. But, the bottom line for me is that I look at the charts and ignore the noise. For the I fund all we have is the EFA. It's holding at the 50 dma right now. So are C and S funds. We are still in buy status but flirting with a partial (50%) sell signal on all stock funds.
Thanks!!:beerchug:

Today is going to be critical. Yesterday we broke the 50 dma which is not unusual and not a sell signal all by itself but if we stay under it very long then it's a problem.

I fund going to get hammered today. Dollar up and euro and UK stocks down. That's a double whammy!

I'm gonna switch funds as I have a partial sell on I fund and S fund is still holding near its 50 dma. Timing the I fund moves is almost impossible with fair value and a big down day may lead to a bounce next week but I'm going with my system.

100% S fund

Unfortunately they hammered us on fair value the day I get out. Ugh

C and I funds have a 50% sell signal because they're under the 50 dam and have been below for several days. But they're still in a bull market. That's why only 50%.

S fund is just below its 50 dma and so far holding on to its buy signal.

What's interesting in my system is that a RSI below 30 is a buy and C and S are in the mid 30's. So is it worth a quick trade to get out and back in? The problem is that the markets can decline in a way that the RSI stays above 30 but still goes down say 5%

It's odd being out here in California and watching the markets. I'm so used to being on eastern time. You have to get up early out here.

Nice rebound and as of right now all funds have regained the 50 dma. My move to S fund turned out to be a loser

That's because them bears keep picking on RUT like it's some kind of pivot point for the market direction.

S fund is only stock fund holding 50 dma. C and I have warning flags but C fund could have made a double bottom today.

Leaving San Diego today. Had a good visit with my son for 10 days. Today heading for Vegas! And the trip home. It will take us 7 to 10 days depending on what we decide to see. Going to head northeast outta Vegas and head toward Denver doing some sightseeing on the way.

Your logic is impeccable because theoretically...in a bull market....once we climb above 30 the slope should be a BUY until we reach the 70 level. I hope it works out that way for everyone.

I hear Pikes Peak is pretty neat. I spent almost 3 years in Cheyenne, Wyoming and never made it down there. Have a safe trip.

For some incredible mountain scenery drive through Ouray, CO. It's out of the way, but the scenery is considered Colorado's Switzerland.

On occasion I make it to Colorado Springs for work, I like to make the trek up to Cripple Creek; that's a pretty cool drive.

Thanks for the suggestions. Today it's gonna be 108 degrees! We're gonna try to take the "Dam" tour if we don't melt.

I agree WW. Ouray is beautiful if out of the way.A fun place to visit and spend a night. If you're passing through Colorado Springs, the Kissing Camels Red Rocks are beautiful, and if you're into great food go to the Cheyenne Mountain Resort (Gourmet Yummmmmmmmmmmm..)

Beautiful drive from west of Vail to Denver on I70. Mostly through mountains along Colorado river which was very high. Went to Rocky Mountain national park for a short visit. Boulder was a nice college town with a mountain backdrop. Left Denver this morning headed to Kansas City but decided to stop in Topeka for the night. Pretty much straight home from here. One more night in Louisville area. Will have been on the road 26 days and over 4000 miles on the car.

Stock market looks ok. S fund broke out to new high last week. C fund holding its 50 dma, I find still below its 50.

Well folks, just got back to house. Home from the long 26 day journey. Had a great time but I'm glad to be home. I feel like I've been on a long journey. I should write a book and call it "There and back again" by bilbo Baggins. Oh yeah. That's been done. Nevermind
