Boy!! With heavy heart here. Glenn Frey one of two original member of "Eagles", Don Henley is the remaining one. The true original "Eagles were: Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner. Don Felder, Joe Walsh (From James' Gang) and Timothy B. Schmit (From "Poco") joined the band after Berni Leadon and Randy Meisner departure.

Here's the original "Eagles"

Speechless. RIP Glenn Frey.

I'm stunned. Had no idea he was in such poor health. Always one of my favorite musicians EVER. This is a sad day!

My wife and I just got home from Dinner. Listened to the Eagles "Hell Freezes Over" CD on the way home and then saw Glenn's passing on the news. Wow. Too many great ones leaving us too soon.

with that song they took a rolling banjo and girls in coveralls with plaid shirts and made it into rock and roll, groundbreaking, seminal. probably resulted in many pregnancies. well done, take it easy.

Yes...too many great musicians leaving us. Rest in Peace to both David Bowie and Glenn Frey. Loved their music so much and their passing is so sad. They were still young.

David Bowie Performing at Live Aid concert 1985

My favorite Glenn Frey song is Take it Easy. But in a recent interview Glenn told Pierce Morgan, his all time favoirite Eagles song was One These Nights.

Nice of you to have the David Bowie at Live Aid. I always felt a little bad for him at this concert as he had to follow Freddie Mercury and Queen.

I wouldnt feel too bad. They were friends and Giants each in their own right. Check this out! Enjoy two great artists, now making music together again ..now in Heaven! party on.....

Can't forget his role as Sal in The Godfather...

This has been a rough year, Abe was famous for 5 decades!

Tom....it's time to post the link....

Abe Vigoda's style of humor is a large part of what made the cast of "Barney Miller" into one of the best TV sitcoms...then and now. One of the few shows I would watch on a regular basis...

Amazing that he looked old 40 yrs. ago. I do not think many young people know (or have watched) Barney Miller. I use to watch it with my late Father. Great memories.

Pragmatism and dedication to the job. RIP Detective Fish.
