I agree, the December low indicator is in play and it usually takes on average about 5 business days to get a better picture of a downturn.

We still have and extreme undervaluation of stocks compared to bonds along with the reading on the put/call ratio and the arms index are what we see at market bottoms so I think we are close.

If you monitor the Barnes Index at all it is now flashing a hugh buy signal, as the current reading of 52.4 represents the most oversold reading since mid July of last year. Not to worry about a top until the Barnes Index reaches a level of 80 or above. I still perceive the bigger risk is being out of the market not staying invested. We could be setting up for a bull trap rally and catch many a bear running for the door.

Hey, I got what I wanted today.....market closing below 1380....this is something that I mentioned last week .....missed what I was hoping for by 2 points....I was looking for 1376.....
