ok, i'm going to do a weekly wrap-up like elephant sometimes do, and compare how it's going in the zoo. also, i'm adding amoeba/turtle to the mix.

turtle: +0.30%, in an 80/20 relatively brave mix.
mouse: +0.18%, in a 90/10 also relatively brave mix.
elephant: +1.23%, in a nutso mix. that guy must believe.
lion: +2.05%, moderately aggressive spread. if you ever want to shotgun something with a reasonable chance of success, he's your man.
donkey: +1.69%, wild child, there's no telling, currently whitey tightey.
cougar: +2.99%, in an agressive all-in distribution, but so far up elephants butt may as well have an extra set of ears.
wolf: +1.33%, crouched and ready to launch, if you ever feel like dialing something in dead nuts, watch wolf.

there's others i watch too, but it hasn't jumped out at me yet. so about the analysis? hell, i don't know, it looks like the buy-and-holder patient no panic types are eating pretty good.

i'm just gonna watch and prey.
 
Do you remember the tune, probably from 1964 or so, the "Baby Elephant Walk"? It was right up the charts with "Telstar". Please don't tell me you weren't born until 1981.

no, but i once dated a gal that was born in 1980, it did not work out very well. her son is 11 now.

i am a 'summer of love' baby, which means my parents got their groove on about xmas or new year's eve 1966.

i remember a cartoon from my youth where all the elephants would grab the other one's tail with their trunk and dance in a line and one of them could fly. is that like baby elephant walk? does that count?
 
I was kinda hoping for a bigger blood trail on the savanna.
Putin was sprayin and preyin with his elephant gun.

Another 5%+ decline and I would have loaded up with another 10% in the equity funds...
Didn't happen though. Maybe da'Boyz are buying in...

Gotta watch for them Black Swans though. Putin and the other grabbers - who no longer get their hands slapped - will do what comes naturally. And, you cannot possibly think that Israel will not take advantage of the mess in Syria to deal with Iran. There is a nice air field in eastern Syria that could become a base of operations for multiple Israeli attacks on the nuke sites in northwest Iran. And, now that Putin gets what he grabs for why not play the same game. Who the hell is really going to come to the aid of Assad or the Mullahs. Just asking. But, that Black Swan drops big turds.

so we're funning around hamming it up and cranking the music and i had to stop, man i suck at dancing.

i can do an awesome robot though, if i do say so myself.
