i was going to ask if anybody on the forum gave up tsptalk for lent, then this guy beat me to it.

I had some fun on Tuesday, when, upon the umpteen hundredth time I was asked what I was giving up for Lent, I spluttered "self-denial."

i was even going to offer an ounce of silver to anybody who had given up tsptalk and responded before good friday. it's the perfect no-lose catch-22.

if you did give up tsptalk for lent then you can't respond, and if you respond you didn't really give up tsptak for lent. either way, no silver for you!

ha! life is good. and funny. i think i'll do something nice for somebody today for no reason at all.

ok, i think i should drop monkey from my informal assessment because he's either a member of a premium service or just won't share so i can't see the score. i've been thinking about adding jpcavin to my watch list but i don't know what to call it. and no matter what it's called it will be wrong or offensive and either way not right. bad blood in the history. plus she's up way more than the rest of the zoo at +2.9%, bitch.

i was thinking i should say something about that but i'm not a stalker so 3rd place is ok with me.

and boghie is already lion. and tiger don't quite fit, and nothing but a cat seems appropriate, so cougar it is.

Well, since my Rabbi never had much to say about Lent, I'll refrain from self-denial as well. The whole Yom Kippur fast thing was rough enough.

for the purposes of which tsptalkers i watch for activity on the autotracker to inform my trades and evaluate my performance it helps me think in 'animal farm' terms. so you are cougar.

the other term i meant in a light-hearted ribbing kind of way. like if two participants are running a race and one beats the other's time by 1.5 seconds, the losing runner might nudge the winner and say 'nice trophy, jerk' and the other one responds 'you didn't do so bad yourself, turtle'. neither one is really disparaging the other's performance or begrudging the win, just acknowledging it. but perhaps i used a poor choice of words as something got lost in the translation.

i'd say i'll try to do better in the future, but i think everyone knows that ain't gonna happen.
