Thanks nnuut...I really could use some "luck" to improve my past track record. At least, I got off on the right foot today. Now, if I could just muster up more courage to buy in with larger percentages. Still shell-shocked from those bad years a while ago. At 59, I don't have enough time to make up for all the losses, but some of the folks on this site have given me new hope!

Retreated back to 100% G today. Wish I had a better reason with some "original" thoughts, but basically I'm just playing follow-the-leader(s) for now. I hear you, nnuut...be smart or get clobbered!

Thanks... St Augustine, FL - (January, 2006) - passed through there on the way home from Ft. Lauderdale. Nearly froze my "funds" off !

Well, South it went. So I moved my 40% F to I for today's COB. Not planning to leave it there over this weekend unless something really big convinces me otherwise. :worried:

Not sure why I chose these percentages today, except to spread it across a wider field. Surprisingly, it did OK for this roller coaster market. I need to settle down and breathe for a while.

Anybody want to guess who said this...

Made IFT at 10:59 AM CDT, but time posted to Budnipper1's Account displays 10:00 AM ??? My computer clock was updated to the new time yesterday.

Moved to 50% I-fund today,following Ebb's chart. Leaving 50 in G.

Others mentioned problems accessing the TSP website today, but it worked ok for me at 10:45 AM CDT.

Made my move to G early. Computer access at Monday's deadline is always a problem for me. Thanks again, Ebb, for making it easy to pick my moves in advance, and Good Luck to all.

I have not yet received the confirmation email from the TSP site. Moved to 100% F yesterday before deadline. The confirmation is usually sent before 11:00 PM. Anyone else having this problem...???

I think I'll just go back to flipping a coin for my moves from now on.

I tried that on a spreadsheet once and the returns varied from +40% to -15%

Locking G 50%, F 50% for a few days, starting Wednesday. Heading to Destin tomorrow night for a long weekend of camping on the beach. Gotta get some rays on this lily white bod before I turn albino. Possibility of wireless internet but won't know till I get there...not sweating it, though...need a break from this rat race every now and then. Hope everybody gets richer while I'm ogglin' skin on the beach.

Nothing wrong with tent camping. I still do that some, too. My camper is small enough to fit in places that alot of the big rigs won't. I had a class A motorhome for a while, but found I had more fun in a smaller camper. Plus, I usually take my fishing boat when I travel, and backing a boat down a boat ramp with a 32 foot bus ain't my idea of having fun.:nuts:
