Birchtree's Account Talk

Well just pee on me why don'tcha - I took a bigger hit today than anticipated thanks to the I fund. It will all come back eventually - perhaps tomorrow. I'm looking forward to December because I have around 75 dividends that will be reinvested and it's always pleasant to get lower prices. However, I think we are headed markedly higher past SPX of 1256 and beyond. Today pushes me further back from my buying power but we got two more days to make some gains. I think the real test will come in the first week or so of December - that's when I'll make my trading moves on the tugboat.

Im glad I followed Intrepid but the bad part is that I have no more IFTs. I might have to sit on the sidelines until Dec. Hoepfully that month will start well.

...next few months the I fund will fall again, probably back into the 17's or 18's....maybe lower. When it does, I can pull back out of the G, and buy back into the I fund while its down.
Got I fund in my crosshairs!

Well I'm on the come back trail again - should get most of my spanking from yesterday back today. I'm patiently waiting for my buying power to open up and when it does I'll be buying with both hands with abandon. If 2011 turns out to be another 1995 this investor is going to get stinky rich - I mean I'll definitely smell like bull manure. Yes siree we are going much higher and I'm on for the bullish stampede. The wall flowers are waiting for their pickup to the tune of hundreds of thousands of margin dollars - so keep the wall of worry intact and keep mom and pop out of equities until we tag our previous highs of 2007.

Nice graphs - all I can do is sit on my laurels and wait for the market to come to me and when it does it'll be game on. The buy list is mostly complete - all I need is money. After the first of the year I can always sell for capital gains profits and raise cash that way - but it would require a scarifice. I know what is coming and it's classic. YTD from July 2010 I made over 948 individual stock purchases in a year - I may try and do the same for 2011 but my base is fairly solid right now. I will continue to build my sacrificial lamb chop account because that's my emergency exit. But I'm very excited about the potential for outsized gains going forward - no fear here.

Hey Birch -- I'm not sure if you (and yours) celebrate Thanksgiving in the Synagogue or at home :o or both :)

Happy Thanksgiving -- my wonderful brother !! ;)

The wife and I are planning to take in a movie: Burlesque. And then head to Crackerbarrel. It'l be a fun day with no work involved and no clean up.

Sounds good my friend.

I'm heading out. (oh speaking of movies -- I'll probably see the new Harry Potter one -- whatever the name -- cause I love the graphics and stuff).

Fire up the masses BT, get this thing running like a finely tuned good old American 400 CI V8
