Birchtree's Account Talk

I too wish birch was still around and posting. Take this post for example...reading it in hindsite proves the ol permanent bull had foresight much clearer than most. Reference his oil buys, just give energy stocks a few years and they will climb through the roof again...the permanent bull will make millions while we are still here dreaming about beating the s fund with 2 moves a month.

OOPS! I clicked the wrong button on my phone. Here is the quote, from July 16, 2015, I was referencing...

You can hit bulls like Birchtree with all manner of negative data and nothing seems to stop them. Why? Because zero interest rates, overwhelming liquidity and the belief bailouts are here to stay means risk has no negative consequences. The primary driver of the rally going forward will be the continued skepticism by investors. Although the recovery has been less than robust it has outpaced expectations and I believe this trend will continue. With 60 shades of grey the major objective of all the money printing and low interest rates has been to create inflation, which includes Birchtree's asset price inflation.

I'm prepared to take ANRZ as a tax loss carry forward if necessary - but I'm not giving up yet. I wish the Donald would go after the over reaching EPA for the serious damage they have created in the coal patch ... .

From July 2015....pretty prophetic, even if you don't agree.

Some of you on the message board are aware that I have a co-worker who reached out to Birchtree a couple of years ago to check on him. He said he was fine at that time. My friend talked to him again today and he says he is still fine and bullish (there's a surprise :D). He also said he was on the wrong side of oil trade, but holding on. He was told about the fact that many miss him and ask about him. My friend requested that he stop by the board sometime and he said he would, but we'll have to see whether he does or not. It may or may not be soon.

I just wanted to pass this along as I know some of you would appreciate knowing he's still lurking out there.

Man, I was hoping to hear from BirchTree. Ugh...

He really helped me get back into equities in April 2009. He made me a LOT of money

I’ll never stop bumping your thread buddy; everyone should read it … great friend, and making me a lot of money didn’t hurt. Miss you!
