Birchtree's Account Talk

Sugar,

I thought I had posted both those sources from my previous posts before I went on my most recent banishment. I should have double checked to be sure. Thanks for the good work - you're a jewel.

"This rally has not been on solid fundamentals and any sign of real strong economic growth, but rather an improvement in corporate margins that has been completely overlooked by the analyst community. In other words, we remain in a 'best and raise' world. That is unchanged for now and will ultimately be the reason why David's 10 reasons are wrong and why the unwavering bear will be wrong again about this market top."

All sins are equal!!

Well Birch -- since you're 'born again' why not delve into this...

This statement could only be TRUE if the sins are weighed against a GOD who is perfect, pure, holy, and without any trace of any sin.

So I'll mention one I read in the paper.

3 yr old killed by father. The father was trying to force the child to go to the bathroom and made him sit on the toilet for hours. Multiple burns were on his legs from a lit cigarette used on him when he fell asleep. Hundreds of bruises and abrasions resulted from the father repeatedly ramming his head in the toilet while holding his legs.

Now contrast that to:
My kids ask me what the rating is to a movie I'm watching

I say PG13 -- when in fact it's R

I drive over the speed limit (doesn't matter how long)

I view anyone with 'prejudism' - 'anger' - 'or with ill will'

I see a woman that moves in a way that's out of this world; hair is flowing beautifully and she's got a figure that everyone craves for and is wearing clothes that fully compliment everything about her..

I get 'on line' during work when things are slow -- or am taking a quick break..

I am driven by this 'wild notion' to stir some trouble and enjoy the thought of doing it....

I see another guy with his pants zipped down --- and don't say anything cause somehow I don't mind him getting embarrassed...

Grandma has a smudge of lipstick on the left side of her mouth (or some crumbs on her lips) -- and it's very evident to me and anyone who would encounter her --- but I don't say anything.

I tell someone 'I don't have any money' -- when in fact I do.

So everyone of these sins is totally identical -- everyone of them is equal. No one is capable of honestly acknowledgeing all sins as equal and if society in general could ever have that concept then nothing could be considered wrong.

Well Birch -- since you're 'born again' why not delve into this... etc, etc, etc

I'll delve a little.

Id rather be in Tiger's shoes than that so-called father.

Sins may be equal

Consequences are another thing. "Father" will have a lifetime to contemplate his heinous crime.

(oh, better curb those urges, Steady)

I'm actually isolated from Cheetah - I don't play golf, drink Gatorade, wear anying Nike, or use Gillet products, or view Holly Sampson porn videos. My concern is the impact these transgressions of the heart will have on the younger African-American community. Cheetah had triumphed over racial prejudice with admirable self-discipline and now his he no longer a credible role model - that's the sadness. My daughter grew up watching the Huxtables and believing that was the typical African-American family. She knows better today.

You are right, Birchtree. You have phrased it so I can understand where you are with this. I don't think it is that caucasions don't recognize this same problem among themselves, it is that thru media & social concepts, it is taught other skin colors are growing up deprived; thus it makes a big impact when one makes it B-i-i-i-g, but an even bigger one when we see the role model fall. It is as if there is a message: once at the top, can not hold on. But history shows thru judges, inventors, scientists, every-day professionals, even amongst sport figures, this is simply not true.:)

I agree with your sadness of his falling, but what is even sadder, is that Bill Cosby preached the exact same thing and was turned on by his own people like a pack of wolves.

My concern is the impact these transgressions of the heart will have on the younger African-American community.

If this is your genuine concern then why all the name calling and the constant baggering ??

The impact it will have is mainly how others respond.

When some crazy SOB went and killed some Amish kids -- what impact did it have on the 'community'.

They tore the school down and left no evidence for anyone to dwell on the place where this occured. They made a point of doing everything possible to limit others from making matters worse and strectching things out.

They totally 'Forgave' the one who did all the harm and they prayed for the family of the one who did all the harm and gave them all the love and care they could possibly give and also gave them a huge abunance of the money they received.

The impact they had on the community can not be measured because it went so far beyond what any thought could be possible.

How will our transgressions impact the community?

Really Birch, your concern is the younger African American community. Finally, we get to the bottom of it all. Well, I'm sure if the Mods knew that perhaps you wouldn't have been put in the corner with the dunce cap on.

And just what is the typical African-American family?

Aaah, It's good to see things are back to normal again here:D

Life is good

Well Birch,

Let's back to some good stuff

Next month is the wedding and you wanted me to remind you that you're also retiring in 2010.

For the Virginia Wedding do you want me to arrange for both Secret Service and Delta Force or do you have a preferance for one or the other?

Delta Force says they are going full gear and doing it right. S.S. will blend in better and be a lot more discrete.

We have an emergency exit established the public doesn't know.

Weapons detectors are in place, along with hidden cameras.

Anything else you need -- let me know.

Buzz has already begged me not to discuss any politics with the groom's family - and I promised I'd be on my absolute best behavior. The groom's dad is a recently retired full bird and is now working in Germany - that could be interesting. I'll let him sound me out before I engage.

"Taking a closer look at last week's action, we see that the Dollar has staged its first real breach of its 50-day moving average. This is MAJOR as it is the first time the Dollar has achieved anything resembling REAL strength from a technical analysis standpoint in well over nine months. Indeed, when we draw in the trend line for the Dollar, we see that we ALSO got a clear break of its downtrend. This development is also MAJOR since the trend-line has served as a point of resistance no less than nine times since May. To see the Dollar break above it AND the 50-day moving average is a strong indicator that this is no mere head-fake and may well in fact be the start of a serious trend reversal."

Well then Birch, if this is a big dollar rally signal then the bulls had better hope that either the inverse relationship the past 6 months has been a small anomaly or that the inverse relationship is now decoupling.

Common sense tells me you will see a decoupling - this new bull market is going to be intact for several more years. And it's going to make me a great deal of money.

Call me a contrarian indicator, but I'm starting to think that this bull market will run further than most believe. The consensus seems to think that it's toast in early 2010.

I'm actually getting ready to bump with Phil (Libbey) if he'll step up. I'm the last one in line and prepared for the task at hand. We'll be jabbing with pogo sticks on the politics in general thread. I'm tired of the nonsense ideology and hope to bring in some substance.
