No, I just thought quoting a Communist to make your point was interesting.

I also think it is interesting thatthree Vietnam War heroes, e.g. John McCain,John Kerry, andMax Cleland, havehad their war recordsslandered and/or belittledwhilethose who didn't serve, e.g.Bush, Cheney, Rice, and Wolfowitz, cavalierly took us to a costly and, apparently, un-winnablewarinIraq. I don't think Bush would have taken us to Iraq if he had gone to Vietnam or even had to make the choice of Vietnam, jail, or Canada. In the vernacular of the 60's, he "skated" through the war.

Incidentally, I'll start believing thatthe Iraq War is worthwhile whenBarbara and JennaBush enlist - or, for that matter, any Bush family member volunteers to serve in Iraq. However, don't hold your breath!

I just returned from a motorcycle parade where there were over 2,000 rolling thunder machines saluting veterans and all public servants. So I will try and tread lightly, but under no circumstances and without equivocation was John Kerry anything more than a three month photo shoot. Someday I need to buy Ann Coulters book "How to talk to a Liberal".

My 2lt daughter who has a degree in chemical engineering will be deployed to Iraq in August'06. Even she knows why she is being asked to support the cause of freedom - the answer is Iran. Think about the ramifications of why we are there for world peace. Take care.

Dennis,

The ans we were given was N.VN!

Once upon a time: Was in II Corps under John Paul Vann. Remember...."A Bright Shining Lie". Hope they got it right this time!

Your daughter seems plenty smart with her degree and rank. You are very proud of her! Add a "me too" to your list. Ok!

In a manner of speech you can tread along, just not on! Was not that on one of our first flags?

Rgds :) Spaf

Yeah, even thereddest communist is a sight for sore eyes now that the iatollahs are on the scene.

But don't bet the reds will be our allies like they were during "the big one" if things get nasty in the Middle East.

Dennis, I agree, I'm sure you are very proud of her. I flew from El Paso to Austin on Nov 11 on Southwest. The pilot mentioned our veterans and the entire plane applauded in their thanks for all that they have done.

Birchtree, you've mentioned your daughter before -I pray for wisdom, discerrment , & safety for her and her group. Did you have a chance to check out Spaf's site he posted for us yesterday?

"However, for old time sake try: http://www.chu65nang67.us/nam/vietnam.html"

AWEsome!!!! and I only was able to get thru one segment ........

I have spent almost a year in Iraq so far. To some extent I am a loyalist to the Nation and the soil and will support this country with my blood, no matter who runs things. My ancestors have fought and died, bleeding blue blood red, and I'll be damned if I give any less.
It is quite the coincidence that we march on to the east, Iraq and soon Iran, with Isreal whispering in our ears what and when to go where. I wonder if anyone will ever stand up to Isreal and say "No." But like some of you have said, "I will not hold my breath."

Soldat,

Keep your head down and be careful out there. No matter what our politics, we support the troops.----Rokid

The I fund is composed of mostly UK and Japan (50.1%). The percentage that relates to the United Kingdom is 27.5%. Lately Japan has been taking up most of the space, but now here comes Europe.

This year is set to become the best year for mergers and acquisitions in Europe since 2000. The attractiveness of a potential target to a potential acquirer is one of the factors that should be considered when investing in equities, but that is more a derivative of successful management, a good franchise and a successful business plan.

But there is too much deal-making for investors to ignore, since owning shares in a target company can boost a portfolio's performance. During the first nine months of this year, there were 7,630 announced mergers or acquisitions, valued at $762 billion, in which a European company was the target. That's 12% more trsanactions and 63% more in terms of value than the comparable period in 2004. The European picture mirrors the rest of the world, where total M&A activity this year is nearing $1.5 trillion.

Driving the deals are strong balance sheets, hefty cash floes, the availability of low-cost financing, cheap equity valuations, a bouant European stock market, weak sales growth and corporate confidence. Noting that companies are finding it hard to pass on rising costs, many companies are using M&A as a mechanism for triggering cost-cutting and creating pricing power. Investors can benefit by just being invested.

I think I'll take a short moment in time this evening to address my buddy Medusa and her many aliases.

Ah yes let's begin with a quote - "Overtime we can also evaluate the source (the messenger) of the information, as to credibility, and shortcut the information gathering process. By cutting through the noise and getting to the heart of a matter more efficiently we creat more opportunities for productive activity." Exactly - DMA - I couldn't have said it better myself.

Folks I want to fish the turd out of the punch bowl and unveil these fugging buggers one at a time in a nice way - it just flames my sphincter when I recognize an inept fraud being perpitrated.

Wimpy is already toast - you want to see a schmuck - you see one every morning when you shave.

Soldat - An E-3 with 2 years in and almost a year in Iraq- looking to see a largescale market crash inside a year or two. You certainly are prescient for someone who lists their birth date as 1/11/1917. You don't have to explain - your toast.

Sr - you're next. What was the lame comment - cognitive dissonance - always around to back up the other aliases. You'll have to play the game smarter than that. You're also toast.

Medusa honey, if you want to show up on this account talk you'll be expected to represent yourself as you really are - no perpitrated frauds welcomed.

Quips - I havemy suspicions - but I'll remain patient until further notice

Call me crazy if you like - just don't call me Crazy Henry, or one of many others.

I know, but there comes a time when ethics and credibility must rule. Everything that comes out of these girls has a trashy negative bent. Go back and read the posts, all the information has a slant, and I don't mind for myself, but for some that are unsuspecting we need to deal in fairness. I wish I could use Bambi to sniff out the other Medusa aliases.

imported post

I know....I've had the same feelings on these slants.....wish I wouldn't be so bearish but it sometimes has to be that way....

One other thing.....Dang if I didn't get the G fund right the second time.....maybe the time of year is really the culprit on the exact dates....they do a lot of jigging around this time of year to make adjustments....:X

Keep it down the middle if you can Birch....keep it down the middle...

:dude:

That time of the month, eh? You are wrong. You are saying I am an Alias? You are wrong. Would you like me to fax my TDY orders to you? You are wrong. You need to take it easy, paranoia is not healthy. By the way, you are wrong.

I'm definitely trying to be down the middle. The purpose of my little "outing" was to inform unsuspecting participants that some sign ons are really part of a fantasy of alter egos from a maniacle individual. I fully expect there to be hostile eruptions of heat, but I don't mind, because I have some previous familiarity with this particular messenger. The majority of the turgid information that is released comes from several different orifices but the process originates from the same dark deep corner or perhaps cave. When you are on an even playing field where fairness counts and is invaluable then new participants can make their own judgements with a certain amount of clarity without fear of fraud or hoax. You all can simply ignore me, I'm just trying to even up the playing field. DMA, let the march to the East begin.

Currently at 10:37, Soldat has responded - but there are three other sign ons that came with him. Soldat, buddy, what about that birthdate?

Soldat,

If I have offended you with an injustice, please allow me to offer my sincerest apology. Duck hunting has never been easy - especially when technology makes it so easy to hide identity. Take care.
