Japan will have a nice night today. APPLE reporting will/should help the USMs..tomorrow. MSFT is another story, they tend to hurt the markets, they report Friday. One more day for me in the I Fund and hopefuly pulled out tomorrow.

Beige book comes out shortly.

That will set the tone for the rest of today/tomorrow.

Will we get that +fv tonight?

Not yet. The numbers are not there yet but Barclays will do what ever they want. But, If I was charge I would probably do a +10 cent FV, since there is such a wide disparety between the I funds' gain and the other funds' gains.:)

I'll take the +.10 cents and maybe a +FV. I know FVs don't matter much if we're still in the I-fund for tomorrow, but it's still good for shaking up the Nikkei for some goodies! :D

Yep, it's looking like a 10 cents +FV now.
350z, how much is the +fv? any idea? also when are you coming back from that hellhole training center?

Just to be sure... A +FV is $$$ owed for tomorrow and a -FV is $$$ that will be subtracted for tomorrow ?

It might be a +FV of 12 cents. Will know better after the market closes.:)

I'll be back home next week but I have to return to OKC in two weeks.

You have it reversed.

A +FV is $$$ that is added to todays but will be subtracted from tomorrow and a -FV is money that is subtracted from today but will be owed or added to tomorrows'.

I hope that helps.:D

Are you sure we're getting an FV? I'm not seeing the 0.5% difference since noon. Close, but not quite. How does the dollar factor in?

EFA up .35% from noon to close, and the US$ was up .1%. Dunno if this is enough for +FV, but 350 is usually correct.

Well, I was so busy I forgot to look at the dollar.

Anyway, here's how it looks now:

S&P had a change of .48%, or 10 cents.
S fund was not enough.
Dow had a change of .5%
USD was up an equivalent of -5 cents.

From these numbers, I would normally say no FV. But recently, Barclay has done a couple of strange FVs. I recall two instances that were totally unexplainable. But as I said before, if I was in charge, I would do a 10 cents +FV. (which means there won't be any):D

G 11.89 even
F 11.36 -.01 -.09%
C 16.63 +.16 +.97%
S 20.31 +.14 +.69%
I 24.22 +.11 +.46%

That's all folks! No FV, but tonight the Nikkei is set up to shake and rattle like a pinata. :D
