350zCommtech's Account Talk

Valley green in North Aurora, IL.

It's a small course consisting of mostly par 3's. It's a great beginner's course. I play there a lot because half of my friends are new to golf and they are not ready for normal size courses.

I'll be playing at a difficult course this afternoon. If I could just eliminate those 3 putts....I've been watching Phill M. short game dvd.

Have a great time... I changed my putting grip this year to a pencil type grip and my putting has improved greatly. Lots of snow and winter days here this year so I practiced putting in the living room. Good luck to you today... :)

Thanks guys,

Fedgolfer,

Hybrids are great for me. They work great out of the rough and I don't lose any distance. The 6 hybrid is my 6 iron equivalent. I carry hybrids 3-6. I still prefer the feel of a long iron over a hybrid. I will sometime carry a 3 or 4 iron.

I'll use whatever it takes to get the job done. I've even choked up on a driver on par 3's.:D

Keep that ball and/or club as a trophy... that is awesome.

Here's a golf funny....

Congratulations 350z! Big golfer myself. Got my second last yr during a 3-day tournament. Wrong time to be doing that but still was a great feeling other then the bar bill.

350z - great job! Been trying for years. Close a couple times, but never in.

fedgolfer ... I replayed your video no less than four times and sent it to my wife. Hilarious!

HAH!

See ya lurking today, Hope the golf game is in full swing:laugh:

Where ya at in the market this week?

Peace!

Hi Frixxxx,

My golf swing was coming along great until today. Drove the ball great and putting was good, but iron shots were inconsistent.

As for the market, I'm not doing anything. I don't really have the time anymore. I'm just trying to figure out if I should put my TSP to work for the end of the month/beginning of the month trade. I just saw that Japan is going to be off May 3-5. When Japan comes back after a long holiday like this, they usually have big gains.

Ref the bailout, it was suggested earlier that this is a 6 months, "kick the can down the road" move and then it will be apparent that Greece cannot juggle their books enough to avoid another crisis. Any thoughts on that and its impact?

Greece is done but banks get some of their money. The only out for Greece is a reset. Screw the banksters.

I doubt that Greece can implement these measures.

They made a hammer candle last night in the Shanghai Index in celebration of not only a 'big fat greek wedding', but also 'big money Monday' which is sure to at least resume at the open today as investors believe they have once again been given the all clear after a one day reprieve.

The Banksters: I didn't know until this morning that Warren Buffet was one of them all along.

While US futures are up a good amount, both the Euro and the Pound are saying otherwise. Bond yields will provide another clue in about 1/2 an hour.

Gap and crap?

MSCI EAFE has the I fund down .70% today. With Friday's 10 cents -FVC, the I fund is down 3 cents. But there will surely be a +FV tonight(maybe 9 cents), which will have to be taken back tomorrow.

With Japan still on holiday, I see the I fund as a bargain. If the markets are down tomorrow or Wednesday. The I fund could be a no-brainer.:D

Japan comes back Wednesday night.
