12%ayear's Account Talk

At any rate, the S Fund is lagging by 7% and the small caps are loaded with small banks and techs. IMO, you will see the small-caps start to lead the way.

Cookies! I've been sitting in the S Fund a while, waiting for the rally. Here we go.

Oh anidoc,
[groan][sigh] Do we really want to move onto this subject? It does seem our currencies are closing on similar prices. As a result, its certainly becoming more a valid hypothesis. I know what I'd tell 'em if asked, but nobody's asked me! - has anyone asked you? - anyone's been asked by anyone? I'd agree though, watch out!

You can't smote the taxpayers (though they probably will) because the high cost of oil and gas is going to force everyone to tighten their belts.

A recent article elaborated that Bush himself said he will avoid additional taxes in 2008 - but Bush stresssed that much higher taxes would have to occur beginning in 2009 (or shortly after the next election). The high cost of oil/gas are just a drop in the bucket.

Dollar Slumps to Record on China's Plans to Diversify Reserves
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601103&sid=aMPLuto8wxK4&refer=news The US DOLLAR is in dire need of a intervention. Many countries are now staying away from the US DOLLAR. This is really bad for the USA. Dollar's decline may prompt joint intervention, Morgan Stanley says http://www.iht.com/articles/2007/11/04/bloomberg/bxbux.php .... OIL will hit $100 and then sell-off. This is a weird walk. High oil prices for no reason, low US DOLLAR,sub-prime mess, and holiday sales. My answer is when things look this bad..there is only one thing to do....BUY,BUY,BUY. You want to sell we things are too good. You want to buy when things look bad.Another crazy session today. IMO..watch the FED say something to cool things off. ;)

12%,
Trying to maintain some semblance of order (possibly alliviate some of the mounted fear), I've a guess, on what's happening - more a hypothesis really:

-->Might what seems so nonsensical overseas just be a show...to get the BoE & ECB to LOWER interest rates?? After all, this all similar to the way "we" do it here in the US - to get rate cuts (institutions talk about losses/spark fear)?? - BoE & ECB rate cuts would have the effect of closing the gap btwn the Overseas vs US dollar, would it not??

yes

;):)This looks like one of those days. Big drop and then a lift-off. Cisco reports after-hours. You will see some postive comments from the Chinese Government dropping the speck on the US DOLLAR. Also watch for FED comments.

LOL, all these negative talkingheads on CNBC. The world is ending .....BUY,BUY,BUY. Watch the turn around today, this will show you who is really in charge. The sharks control the markets not these people talking about old news. Right down we are down -115. :) Look for smart money to enter....BTW..CSCO

Good idea, but I think we should call it the POASS!!
...with all due respect , nnuut,
(somewhere I read that phrase warns: Watch Out)
to my Canadian heritage - I would wonder if, when spoken, this doesn't need to be done with the `Canook' accent, otherwise it reads without our neighbors to the north ... !!
:)

Dow and NASDAQ wants green today. Might bail to the G Fund for Thursday, need to do some more DD. I am feeling we go green today and sell-off tomorrow.

FWIW.....I am bailing to the G Fund. Going back to my defense mode. Time to wait. I still believe we will recovery from here and push green. Call me crazy. :D

Thanks for the call, I have been waiting for one of the leader to speak :), although to be honest, my stomach can't handle any more of this roller coaster!!!

I think it's the right call given the volatility. Lot of craziness in todays markets and the buy programs aren't pulling things up yet. Still can't figure why a company like Sirius is up 3% when thry've not even shown a profit

If I'm reading you correctly - maybe finish in green today (so sell) then down tomorrow or Friday for buying opportunity?

Or are you bailing because it's all downhill?
IMO, I think we will recovery today and tomorrow we sell-off. IMO of course..please do not go by me. It is just my 2 cents. I do not want to misguide you or anyone. Best of luck. I am waiting for some postive comments by someone like the FED or overseas to spark a recovery today. Also, CSCO reports after-hours.

Thanks 12%. I always make my own decisions using the best data available. I thought you meant you were bailing to G this morning. I'll stick with my original plan unless the market tanks really bad.
I went to the G Fund for tomorrow..forgot to post it in my account..Too late now
