I'm so excited!
... Now I just have to stay as healthy as possible until they can get the treatment ready for general use. :)

Lady, you are in our prayers -
- and, you HAVE discontinued the workforce totally, right ??
...not dropping in to the office now & then ??
...hearing their complaints of you not being there to do - `The Work.'
...getting rested with only whatever activity is necessary to keep you moving & moveable - right ?

And lots of love & laughter with the family ? -
-RIGHT, I knew that one, for sure !! :D:D
-oops - watch the !!! marks !

Thanks, grandma! I worked from a home office for almost six years before I finally pulled the plug. Except when I was working out of my suitcase, that is. And in the month since I've re-retired I've been asked to go to Manhattan, Omaha and San Francisco. I hated to tell them no but if I could still do it I'd never have retired. It was really interesting work.

And yes, love those grandkids! I saw some of them at Walmart yesterday and the baby was holding a bag of candy. I asked her what she had and she said, "M-an-M-an-M-an-M-an-M's!"

Prayers and crossed fingers are being thrown your way Lady.

Nothing but good thoughts and hopes for better health being sent your way, Lady.
Thanks, folks, I really appreciate it!

Because the treatment is working with stem cells directly in the spinal cord, anything other than trial use is still probably years out. And I can't volunteer for testing because my condition is rare enough that they wouldn't be able to extrapolate data - - I already checked. But it's been over a decade since I heard they were able to realistically start exploring this option so at least I know things are moving along now. Very cool!

I'm mostly in G Fund right now with a little in F. I was thinking that with these cheap prices I should nibble back in a bit. But I talked myself back out of it. I have learned that for me and my trading mentality it is best to be a trend trader. My best trades have been when I pick a timeframe and wait for a golden cross before moving in to a fund. Then when there is a dead cross I run don't walk to the nearest exit.

So that's what I'm going to do this time too.

Pre-markets are down across the board. Probably lots of profit taking after yesterdays big day. Prices are still cheap. If I wanted back into the markets, it would probably be good to buy on this down day.

Unfortunately I have docotors appointments until after the deadline and so will have to make up my mind in the next hour. Hm-m-m-m, what to do, what to do ..... {goes back to studying her charts}

Well, I pulled the trigger and moved about half my account back into equities early this morning on what I thought was going to be a down day. That's what I get for thinking!:cheesy:

As of COB today I'll be 60% G, 5% F, 20% C, 10% S and 5% I.

Lady,

Would now be a good time to initiate the movie game once again - for slow tight range days. The game would allow more participation.
