Proposed Amendment to the United States Constitution

"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States."

But it is just my opinion.

The Senate approved far-reaching new financial rules on Thursday.

The 1,500-page measure, shepherded through the Senate by Christopher J. Dodd (D-Conn.), chairman of the banking committee, seeks to reshape both Washington and Wall Street.

A team of scientists trying to determine how much oil has been flowing since the offshore rig Deepwater Horizon exploded April 20 and sank two days later found the rate was more than twice and possibly up to five times as high as previously thought.

"We have bought search terms on search engines like Google to make it easier for people to find out more about our efforts in the Gulf and make it easier for people to find key links to information on filing claims, reporting oil on the beach and signing up to volunteer," BP spokesman Toby Odone told ABC News.

We will all pay for this oil cleanup in the price of gasoline and other petroleum products. Who do they think they are fooling?

"I can make this pledge to the American people - that the American people will not pay a dime for the clean-up of the Gulf region and that BP will be held responsible for all the damages that have occurred," Mr Holder told reporters in Washington.

Can some of this clean up oil be recycled for a profit or burned in a waste to energy plant?

It is recoverable so yes it is useful. Time and effort will equal $. Profitability is a different story.

Also Mr. Holder is an idiot. All consumers of petroleum will pay for this.

U.S. government scientists on Thursday doubled their estimate of the amount of oil gushing out of a ruptured Gulf of Mexico oil well as British energy giant BP scrambled to stem the leak.

The King Vac® is the world’s most powerful wet or dry vacuum loader.

We may need a bigger one for the Gulf of Mexico.
Do you hear that? Listen it's getting louder, it's the sound of them sucking more money from us taxpayers to pay for someone else's mess. Oh sure BP will pay big but we will be the loosers.:notrust:

I just thought about my 100 shrimp $5 poboys a year. I figure the price will double so that will be an extra $500 a year I will have to spend. If I need those for another 20 years that will be a total of $10,000 not accounting for inflation of course.

To whom should I make the bill?

President Obama will demand that BP establish an escrow account to compensate for Gulf Coast oil spill claims when he meets with company executives on Wednesday, White House officials said Sunday.

I hope this escrow account is big enough to cover my fish and shrimp meals until I die.
