I moved 10% in the I Fund COB today, remaining in G Fund.

While I bought that 10% on a down day It is looking like I should have jumped back out 24 hours later for a small gain. Probably give it all back today plus sum.

Monday ACWX kissed Std-3-Support of the still rising 63-LR Channel. In a bull market there is no better place to buy, so the entry looks darn good. EURO ain't far off the beaten path, you may just get a nice run if the market's cooperate.

I'm moving around 2% at a time. I'm an expert at trying to catch the falling knife. I got out (96% G mid Feb) and have made 3 moves back in of 2% each time. I'm close to retirement (or maybe this DRP round) so I need to be cautious.

I Chickened out

About a month ago I started out nervous about the market, then I went to worried, then scared, then angry. etc.
Then my wife says to me "Didn't you tell me years ago that without 08-09 creating an enormous buying opportunity we would most likely have to work until 65". She is such a smart woman.
I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm glad there were several Perma Bulls on here that had a hand in guiding my financial decision making.

I wasn't in the office anyway but no move for me today.

The major indices are in full on correction territory but only the NASDAQ crossed into a bear market. I was waiting for the other two to hit that mark but have yet to do so. We are due for a snap back but most likely that will be short lived. You look at the futures and get excited but then remember the huge swings yesterday and have to temper that feeling. I remind myself that selling losses is permanent, losing value is temporary and that time is your friend.

Three-day weekends for the stock market can be scary.

The I Fund ticked up a few cents yesterday at the close. With a strong day today, I may use it as an opportunity to make a slight gain and jump back out.

Decided to hold tight.

Nice gain on the I Fund from my buy in point. If I can carry that through the day, plus a bit more, it would make a nice exit.

The economic calendar is light today with Consumer Sentiment at 10am. Of course there are some things that aren’t on the calendar, like unsolicited talking.

I may disengage from the I Fund today, we will see how things play out before noon.

I went 100% G Fund today, hope it stays steady at least, $1.56 on the upside if it holds. Sitting at +3.09% on the year, got no complaints.
