WorkFE's Account Talk

Same here JTH. Of course I won't pull it all but unless tomorrow it up big by deadline, Mondays have me inclined to wait until then.

I hope everybody is having a good weekend. Remember to set your clocks ahead 1 hour when you wake up tomorrow or stay up until 2 in the morning and do it then. My wife and I have Mid night bowling tonite (Big Brothers/Big Sisters) a good time to be had by all. Later

We might be paying the piper today however it did not take long for visine to take some of the RED out:D

"Mark Twain famously observed that October is one of the most dangerous months to speculate in stocks. The others, he added, "are July, January, September, April, November, May, March, June, December, August, and February."

Although I think it would be a bit early, it would not surprise me:

Flat to the Red side today (Possibly down moderately today). Anticipation until tomorrow.

It is after 3PM. Please keep your arms and legs inside the ride at all times. Would not want you all to lose anything.

If ya don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. Atleast thats what grandma used to say.

I guess everybody is assuming that the market will flounder around till about 2:30 and then it's off to the races or cliff diving.

People are angry on the MB. Been going on for a few days now. Debate is good, hatred not so good.

To those that rarely post or sneak in and out, deadly but silent, I swear it's usually a much friendlier atmosphere. Honest.

GL today everybody.

What's up. Why would you think someones angry. It just family.:D

Today could be the buy-in dip day you've been looking for. Tough choices gotta be made. I have 50% in cash and 1 IFT. Do I sink it in today. (Assume dip) and then pull back out monday (Generally a trend up-day) hmmm. Still early though, GL

Futures in the Red this morning. No surprise but does it full out tank for a couple of days as a reaction to Healthcare Reform Vote or is this a hard shake of those itchy trigger fingers.
We shall see, any ideas?

I like red futures. They prevent gaps from forming after they recover mid-day. :D

... which brings us to one of the most important pieces of stock market education ever presented in a movie not about stock markets:

Paulie: "What's 'gaps'?"
Rocky: "I dunno, she's got gaps, I got gaps, together we fill gaps."

Note they follow up with a second stroke of lifelong investor education brilliance in the sequel:

Don't invest in condom-iniums if you never wear them.

This is very "Peter Lynch" ... don't buy a company you know nothing about.

:D

A Little green today. Sure would be nice to push past and hold 1077. If not we may be in line for another Thurs-Friday of last week. If I had 2 IFT's I would consider a short bail but it ain't in my possession.

GL today everybody (Even those who supported Healthcare Reform):D

Wake me up when you see a crash coming. I think this market is lulling us into the market to crush us.

Should be a fairly quiet week. Not looking for much movement but then again quiet weeks have been some of our most volatile lately it seems.
