Sorry Steady, I was not ignoring you. Wife left for work at 6AM. I was on the river by 6:15

(Snuck an extra day off)
Looks like May might have a strong finish.
No problem at all - and certainly didn't feel ignored.
She is currently cut way back on the caffeine. Seems to be having some affect. We shall see.
That's smart - very smart and if she doesn't need any medication that's all the better. What I'm talking about definately wouldn't hurt though - is given in very low doses and basically just helps restore the nighttime balance.
Where in Germany? We were stationed in Friedberg in the 80's and Fulda in the 90's.
I was in Erlangen 79/80 - Base closed down. That's where the story occured I recently mentioned to Cowboy (CB).
1980 parents flew over - took 3 weeks leave - started off in Munich, and rented a car went through the Black Forest to Oberammergau which is a beautiful place - known for it's wood caving and the Passion Play is held there. We went to Berchesgarden and Innsbruck along with Linderfhof, Neuschwanstein, the Alps, Eagle's nest, Concentration Camp, Saltzberg, and other scenic places. A lot of smaller towns and beautiful drives.
Then in 2002 we flew back (with my wife and kids) and my parents came with us and we had a similar trip but went to Switerland and Italy as well - COUNTRYSIDE STUFF - was the best trip any of us ever had (my folks included). It was very cool - we basically did not have reservations anywhere but kind of went on 'faith' and looked for zimmer frees - and really did well - I mean we did great.
We'd go to local stores for lunch to get their great rolls (like the ones all the zimmer frees gave us) along with some meat and cheese. So when we're in Switzerland my wife asked the lady behind the counter if she had any Swizz cheese. Oh my gosh - you should have seen the way the Lady 'LIT UP' --- Yahhh tis all Swizz Cheese'
two of our favorite spots was Berchesgarden in Germany and Innsbruck in Austria.
But I have to be honest. The Bass fishing is better here.
