WorkFE's Account Talk

We either gain back all the losses from yesterday or have a flat finish going into the holiday weekend. There seems to be decent support to stem a huge down day however we have also seen that heavy resistence up top. Maybe this is the point we will be huddling around for the next few months.

Well, since a professor said it, it must be true:suspicious:

Not exactly a bold prediction.

Have a great weekend everybody

The little boy with his finger in this dyke.........:worried: better run for higher gound...the head fake is over:mad:

I think I'd try and be a little more politically correct and sensitive with my finger - after all this is an Obama administration.

Sorry about the other day when you'd asked about RLS

In my excitement I kind of went over board

My kids are strongly into 'other languages' and I started talking to you as though I'm talking to one of them.

In my silly way I may respond to them - as I did to you - and emphasize that 'I'm German' -- one of our best vacations was in Germany, Austria, Switzerland... but of course you have no clue what I'm doing and is was probably very confusing. :embarrest:

From my perspective RLS pretty much represents a chemical abnormality of the brain - and so I understand it way more along the lines of Dopamine and treating it with something like Pramiperxole (which is what they gave me).

If that's what's going on with Honey Bumpkin then she can't help it and it's bound to be a recurring problem. I included the link since we talked about caffeine - and maybe she does have low iron....

...but to me it's Dopamine before it's anything else and so that's why I responded the way I did initially.

If I'm right and she does get Pramiperxole (or something similar) then not only will the RLS disappear - but the overwhelming odds are she is going to feel a lot better (more energy) the next day.

Well GL whatever you decide to do.

Sorry Steady, I was not ignoring you. Wife left for work at 6AM. I was on the river by 6:15:D (Snuck an extra day off)
Looks like May might have a strong finish.

She is currently cut way back on the caffeine. Seems to be having some affect. We shall see.

Where in Germany? We were stationed in Friedberg in the 80's and Fulda in the 90's. two of our favorite spots was Berchesgarden in Germany and Innsbruck in Austria.
But I have to be honest. The Bass fishing is better here.

No problem at all - and certainly didn't feel ignored.

That's smart - very smart and if she doesn't need any medication that's all the better. What I'm talking about definately wouldn't hurt though - is given in very low doses and basically just helps restore the nighttime balance.

I was in Erlangen 79/80 - Base closed down. That's where the story occured I recently mentioned to Cowboy (CB).

1980 parents flew over - took 3 weeks leave - started off in Munich, and rented a car went through the Black Forest to Oberammergau which is a beautiful place - known for it's wood caving and the Passion Play is held there. We went to Berchesgarden and Innsbruck along with Linderfhof, Neuschwanstein, the Alps, Eagle's nest, Concentration Camp, Saltzberg, and other scenic places. A lot of smaller towns and beautiful drives.

Then in 2002 we flew back (with my wife and kids) and my parents came with us and we had a similar trip but went to Switerland and Italy as well - COUNTRYSIDE STUFF - was the best trip any of us ever had (my folks included). It was very cool - we basically did not have reservations anywhere but kind of went on 'faith' and looked for zimmer frees - and really did well - I mean we did great.

We'd go to local stores for lunch to get their great rolls (like the ones all the zimmer frees gave us) along with some meat and cheese. So when we're in Switzerland my wife asked the lady behind the counter if she had any Swizz cheese. Oh my gosh - you should have seen the way the Lady 'LIT UP' --- Yahhh tis all Swizz Cheese'

Well have a good one.

It's funny I tried to send this and it wouldn't let me - said the message was too short and just realized everything was inside the quote. Duh.... :embarrest:

Absolutely amazing. 75% of the MB members are in positive territory. Anyone think we can pull out 90% by the end of June.

I think I've been first or second on the top of those in the negative for weeks. Just can't seem to get that final push to positive no matter what. So yeah, I'd like to see 90% positive by end June.

Unfortunately I believe we will be sideways trading for a while.
I bailed alittle early but I have saved a ton on the Tums by being in the G.
The market did not give up all of yesterdays gains so there is still hope for this week. We could easily gain it all back tomorrow.

What a crock, they will raise property taxes to cover their butts and lock them in when things get better. You will pay more and still have the same crappy service.
The gig is up for GM but it is already baked into the market. I would bet money they come out the other end of this better off than all of them.

Tell those without a job for the next 2 years.

Good luck the rest of the week. I have Jury Duty tomorrow.

Boy, WorkFE, you and Steady sure brought back some memories. I was stationed at Flak Kaserne, 30th Field Hospital, in Augsburg 69/70 and visited all those wonderful places, you mentioned. And the food, oh yeh!!

Being from PA and the fact that my family is german the food tasted alot like what I got as a kid growing up.
However, I ain't never had beer like that :D at least until a couple years ago when I started making my own. Good trade to know.

Futures slightly green. Asia Up. Europe hovering slightly down. Today and tomorrow could be telling days.

Do you have a good recipe you'd share? There's nothing like a full bodied German beer.

I packed up the camper last night so the boss and I are off to the campground tonite and tomorrow as soon as I get out of here. I should be able to put on the board a hefeweizen or saison. I only brew ales do to fermentation temperatures so if you like lagers your outa luck.

Anyway markets flat at the moment.

For Big Brown,

Saison:
Belgian ale that was made in household breweries during spring. Saisons are brewed hoppy and fairly strong in order to keep through the summer.

Half lbs. Briess Caramel 20
6 lbs. Golden Light Malt Syrup
1 lbs. Gold Dry Malt Extract
2.5 oz. French Strisselspalt
half oz. French Strisselspalt
Wyeast #3522 Belgian Ardennes Yeast

Instruction Link:
http://docs.northernbrewer.com/general_beer_kit_instructions.html

Visit some online brew shops. They have some great easy to follow brew kits from all over the world. I have never had one turn out bad.

Returned from the campground around one this afternoon. Campground was full but not alot of people from out of state. People are still getting out they are just staying closer to home.
