Who Are You Voting For ?

I'm voting against the party of Borrow and Spend.
The one that used to contain the Fiscal Conservatives, then kicked them of the Party.
Voted for McCain in 2000. Now he wants to tax cut and keep the wars going. Which means, you have to keep borrowing.
Not this time, voting for Obama. Both candidates are increasing spending, it's just a matter of when the bill comes due. I prefer pay as you go. Borrow and spend just puts off the pain until after I'm on a fixed income (retired).

I'm voting for Cindy McCain - she's a winner and has always been proud of her country.
And she's HOT

"From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working. After 143
days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan. 143 days. I keep leftovers in my refrigerator longer than that." Cindy McCain

I'm voting for the REPEAL of the HATCH ACT!!!!
Er....nice sentiment but please no. It stops the Appointees from having office "get out to vote [for our candidate]" parties. A couple years ago, a newbie appointee tried to arrange one for our entire Bureau, before the Office of the General Counsel informed him of the error of his ways.

It used to be worse, you weren't even allowed to go to party meetings, caucuses or conventions on your off hours. We just have to be careful now what we do during work hours.

I voted for Bush - mainly because he seemed to stand for a "better cause" and I was ready for something different.

I voted for Kerry - because he promised support for 'Stem Cell Research' - and recognized the importance of Scientific Advancments. Whereas Bush adamantly opposed it.

So the last election for me stood wholly on the grounds of Science and the support or denial thereof.

This election has no guarantees - as one (or the other) may say something to the effect of pushing Brain Research as the Highest Priority - or something else along the lines of huge significance.

Right now - A leader displaying international relationships in a superior style, and one who has the backing of the most prominent economic and military experts (who non-biasly and objectively support his proposals) seems like the better pick.

We are in Iraq to contain Iran and stabilize the Middle East region. The more insurgents we can kill there the better off the whole world will be - it's that simple. We will always have some kind of position or presence there just like we do in Germany or Japan or Italy.
I'm not paying taxes to "contain" and "stabilize" any other country or rebuild THEIR infrastructure. I want MY borders protected and MY infrastructure maintained. And that's NOT the excuse this administration gave to invade a sovereign country anyway. Wasn't it WMD's? Amazing how that has changed over the course of this farce.

I'm voting for McCain. Never Obama....color doesn't matter...and gender doesn't matter, but I can't take all the socialist/liberal views and weird friends/associates he has. I grew up in the midwest...my parents voted Dem; but they were the conservative dems ...the old types that cared about unions and people, and a typical marriage (man and women). If that offends someone...I don't care...get over it.

At first I kind of liked him for his simple talk ...no BS but the more I knew I didn't like him. I think he has kind of a Napoleon complex and if you didn't agree w/him you're out. He worked hard and then gave up....what a guy....and then some story about his daughter...I don't know if true or not...so he quit. If I had worked on his campaign I would have been really pissed (can I say that here) and would not support the 'little dictator' again...never.

Two things that turned me off about Perot..

1. He wanted to put a .50 cent tax on gasoline immediately. (imagine paying that now)

2. He abandoned the fight when he almost had it and then came back, then left again...(shows me he can't stick to a decision)

He is human unlike the other two and not use to Washington politics. Someone is going to have to start making the unpopular tough chose.

You left out the best part!
Don't read something into it that isn't there, i.e. disrespect.

I'm SO glad we violently agree! Showing respect the way we are taught, is an entirely different matter from whether we were taught the proper way in the first place. So long as a person shows respect according to how they were taught, it says nothing negative about their level of patriotism. I have full confidence even a conservative can tell the difference between the two (Oh, the audacity of hope). OK, I'm done now.:)
