@ haole boy - no, not a vegan. the main dish was fish, and unfortunately my taste buds rebel when i attempt to eat it. we had gone piranha fishing that morning and caught about 8 small ones. our guide had the cook fry some up for the others to try. it was very boney, but tasty they said.
@nnut - omg. norm! it's a beet and potato mix. it was very good.:suspicious: and if you noticed, i enjoyed the meal with a cerveza from the amazon called amazonica, not bad.
@tom - sorry, i won't be able to post any more pics until i get back home on my rock after the 11th. i forgot the chingadera to upload my photos from the camera to my iPhone. i will be in Lima, Mira Flora district by the ocean, until sunday. tomorrow i go to the airport to pick up 2 friends from CA to join me on the 2nd leg of my trip. we will be traveling to the Andes and staying in Cuzco. that cool mountain air will feel great compared to the heat and humidity of the jungle.
