Wouldn't it be hard to quantify what temp is a record, as the records have been fudged, skewed, manipulated or lost? Without reliable data to review a claim, it seems capricious to go about stating what are "global records" at this point.

Listen FWM, I just jumped on Google and searched, I have seen hundreds of these and many that I think you would agree are reputable sources, over and over again Man Made CO2 is not a major factor in Global Warming! Other pollutants and just plain water vapor do much more harm, actually CO2 has a shielding effect in the atmosphere by blocking incoming radiation, feeds plants that generate oxygen is stored in rotten plant matter and the oceans until needed. I'm not going to provide a link, search for yourself.

Meteorologist are not Climatologist, though each plays in the other's playground from time to time. Climatologists tend to see cyclical patterns over the long term, which seems to refute much of what the Earth Warmists seem to be concerned about.

I think its meteorologists (many of whom look at weather day-to-day) who are not as convinced about global warming.

Climatologists might be the wrong people to ask if its going to rain tomorrow. But the climatologist community overwhelmingly is in agreement on global warming.
