This was also a Classic radio show back then...

Wisconsin Public Radio does, at least did when I lived there, play a Sunday evening show called "old time radio drama". "The Shadow" was frequently played during that hour. Really fun to listen to.

I don't collect anything radio related but I love radio in general. I moved my TV last January and haven't even hooked it up/plugged it in since then...but my radio is on almost every waking hour.

Love it. I have a restored 1962 Wurlitzer Jukebox that holds 50 45's (100 songs). When I bought it, it had a bunch country music on it. I filled it with 1960's / 70's stuff, Beatles, Beach Boys, Aerosmith, Mama' & the Papas, etc.

Rolex and Tag Heuer watches. Don't recommned it though - I have too much money tied up in watches.

I've been buying watches that have dead batteries or need repair and reselling them on FleaBay. No Rolex or Tag Heuer's yet, but I've sold a couple of Invicta's, Bulova's, Nixon's, and a bunch of Fossil/Relics. I don't try to buy the Rolex I see. Too expensive if you don't know how to spot the fakes. I've seen some decent fakes in the Philippines, so I shy away from them.

I collect board games, mostly smaller format stuff unless it has some nostalgic appeal for me. I have a large electronic collection of games as well: board games, card games, dice games, rpgs, etc. I also have an old stamp collection that I kind of gave up on but found again recently. At one point, I stopped collecting stamps and started collecting postmarks.

I am curious. Where do you find the watches that you repair? And yes, there are some fake Rolexes out there that are very difficult to tell if they are real or not. Serial numbers on the cases is the best way to tell, but now I understand they are even puting those on the fake ones.

Propertyroom.com mostly, but I'll occasionally find one I like at a garage sale.

Now that's interesting. Rcknfrewld, I have a large collection of 33's inherited from my dad. Big band swing...lots of Harry James, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Etc..still have old Pioneer turntable and can play them plus 45s and regular albums.

Any particularly good / rare ones we should know about?

I used to buy and sell a lot of guitars on ebay while looking for the perfect one. I bought a brand new, gorgeous Les Paul Custom but didn't really like the way it played so I sold it on ebay for almost what I paid for it. That's one good thing about good guitars. They tend to hold their value. Currently I am down to a Fender Strat Deluxe and a 1983 Martin acoustic that I love.

Depends what you consider good...I like a lot of the 80's glam/hard rock so I'm into the pointy 80's guitars and Japanese imports

Don't know about bronze, but those copper bars sell for about $12.00 a bar. Maybe a little cheaper on ebay if you sneak a bid in at the last second
