weatherweenie's account talk

Good bye to a friend

Later this morning I will be going to the vet's to 'be there' when my girlfriend puts down her dog, Scruffy.

Scruffy is a 15 year old dog. She's had a long life, that didn't start out well. She was abused, we think, as a puppy. She was then hit by a car which resulted in broken hind legs.

Scruffy was about to be put down then, when my girlfriend agreed to nurse Scruf back to health.

Scruffy has always been a very sweet girl, inspite of her deadly gas. :)

While she will be dearly missed, it's time to let her go and end her suffering. :(

What you may not realize is that the SPX breadth MCSUM was not only able to move to new 52 week highs but with a reading of +813 - there is going to be very little in the way of price decay. Think back to last year on the run from 9/06. We also have new 52 week highs on the SPX volume MCSUM as well, and with a reading of +925, volume is currently leading breadth of market. Be in to win.

Sorry to hear about Scruffy. I went through the same thing last October when my girfriend's cat, Caley, was put down. Its hard to see someone you love in pain. We made it through those days and you will too. May god bless you, your girlfrind ,and Scruffy.

What were the stats before last years correction?

Gut says go to the G fund, thinking we're in the process of getting a much awaited pullback.

Doing the opposite and going to the I, hoping the US market pop in the afternoon, carrying over to the overseas market tomorrow.

Don't feel alone. I too am considering the I fund because if the USM pop it will carry over. Also 12% and Ebb carry some weight.

Looks like the S fund might finally be getting its act together. Time to spread things out, and put more into the S. 30-40-30 csi.

I'm hoping that in celebration of my daughter's 9th birthday today, the markets finish up BIG today. Followed by the much anticipated, and yet to happen correction as I'm going to the G fund cob 5/24.

Enough with the F fund, hoping the selling continues through today, with a relief rally tomorrow. Even so, I'm not overly confident with the market as high as it is, so I'm moving 70% to G and 15% into both the C and S funds.

Think Postive.....We shall see how shorts get wacked today. Love when futures are deep red in the opening, true players come out and make a fortune on the upside. I stayed put in the C Fund, which is down pre-market about.60%, however; I believe you will see a green close. GL

I'd rather wait for a green close on Thursday, if you don't mind. :p
