weatherweenie's account talk

Hold On!

Hang in there, you are going to enjoy being Forecaster Emeritus when you retire. I did 25 years with NWS. I'd'a kept going but I was physically drained, it became a matter of the public safety. *smile*

My kid went to Madison, lives in Sun Prairie -- she got the Master's Degree, I got the hat with a red W on it, wear it allatime.

Devastated to hear of your colleague, the whole office must be a mess, busy time of year, too. Union helping? They have a fund, I contributed to it.

A drop to 2125ish first thing tomorrow would be perfect to complete wave C of a simple A-B-C wave 2 correction that started at today's high. That would draw in more bears, then wham, then comes wave 3 of 3 up to record highs by next week.

2125 was the low at the open, bingo. But will it hold is the question...this market is wild but overall Trump is obviously pro-business and I'd think the markets will figure that out quickly.

Glad for active Feds. Retirees and SS recipients have gotten the screws for two years in a row. And at a time when inflation is not only here but biting fixed income folks. How can they not consider major increases in the cost of rents, health care, food prices, etc. But that's what happens when the loonies run the asylum...

I mirror your comments weatherweenie. I too wonder what are our Washington leaders thinking, but then again, they're not.

With new highs, I'm moving to the G fund.

Today's posts seem to reflect how TSPers have been trading all year....

Weatherweenie moved to G.
James moved to S.
Nasa observed that the big winners this year (and last year for that matter) were the buy and holders, I then C, then S.

I guess Tom needs a new motto:
Friends don't let friends buy and hold....except in 2017! :eek5:

(Speaking of which....where is Birchtree???)
