WAR

BTW, back in the day when I was blogging, I wrote a post on how Israel could strike the nuclear sites in Iran.

They would either take over the airbase in the far east of Syria or build a base and runway.

@James48843, in 5 hours and 3 minutes Trump goes from Failed Austrian Artist to the Taco. Next up: War Profiteer!!!

Too funny.

Iran has nothing. All the TACO has to do is pretty much nothing. Iran is a client state. The fourth or fifth level of 'leadership' will choose to be an oil tick kleptocracy over being nothing but a live fire exercise area. Venezuela Part II.

And….that was quick.

Iran closes the door again saying the US broke the cease fire.

Live updates: Iran closes the Strait of Hormuz in response to Israeli attacks on Lebanon, per Iranian state media

IRAN, — Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz again in response to Israeli attacks on Lebanon, Iranian state media reported.
The closure comes less than 24 hours after Iran reportedly agreed to a ceasefire deal with the United States, effectively opening the strait and allowing the flow of oil worldwide. The U.S. and Iran both claimed victory after the two countries and Israel agreed to a two-week ceasefire that halted more than a month of war.

Hate to be them!!! They really love their terrorist proxies. But, man, it's time to bail on the fail.

Oh well, let's get to the 5th Level of Leadership then.

Iran says it’s shutting down the Strait again due to Israel’s continued attacks inside Lebanon. JD Vance says Lebanon wasn’t part of the deal.

I’ve counted today a total of 7 ships transiting across the strait today. Four were from Iran, and four were tankers. A tanker from Oman is making the transit right now. But that is still a snail pace.

So the question now is- Now what?

Ah Jeeze: the Iranians just knocked out that Saudi Oil Pipeline bypass to the Red Sea. This is a serious loss- shut down. Major problem.

Iran Attacks Saudi Arabia's East-West Oil Pipeline

By Charles Kennedy - Apr 08, 2026, 1:30 PM CDT

Saudi Arabia's East-West Pipeline, a critical artery bypassing the Strait of Hormuz, was reportedly hit in an Iranian drone attack on Wednesday, Reuters has reported. According to the report, a pumping station along the 1,200 km pipeline was struck by a drone early morning on Wednesday. Prior to the attack, the pipeline was pumping at its emergency capacity of 7 million barrels per day (bpd) to bypass the shuttered Strait of Hormuz.

The strike occurred just hours after a U.S.-Iran ceasefire announcement, which has so far failed to halt regional hostilities.

The East-West pipeline has been serving as Saudi Arabia's primary remaining export outlet since the war began in late February, with roughly 5 million bpd of crude exported via the Red Sea port of Yanbu.
