Gutsy move...tough to catch that falling knife...but tip-toeing in is a good strategy, saving the rest of your powder when we actually do convincingly turn around. Many (myself included) blindly jump in emotionally after a 3-5% drop, only to take another big hit with 100% of their funds exposed to a cratering market. During big drops, I will be incorporating the tip-toe in method to increase odds of an avg buy in somewhere near the bottom. Only fools try to time it just right (heard that on CNBC once from an analyst), and a few months ago I got tired of being the fool.

Thanks. The problem with being at the top, is it is easy to get complacent and be knocked down. I was going to stay in G the rest of the year and be happy with being more than ten percent up this year, but the market seems oversold right now, so if I can get another one or two percent I'll give it a shot. I probably won't stay in long, unless we have a repeat of that six percent up in one day event. Then I might hold a little while.

I'm wondering if the action the last few days has been "buy the rumor" and tomorrow will be "sell the news" with the jobs report. It's getting close to that resistance level. Might have to pull back to the (G)arage tomorrow.
