Viva La Migra's Account Talk

I refuse to retire here in California...

I will retire at 56 years 8 months with 32 years of service and go and teach part time down in the Caribbean. Taht way, I can be done with the whole U.S. thing and be an immigrant (legal) elsewhere.....
I hear you on leaving California. Libs have ruined this once great state. I may move to Wyoming or Montana when I retire.

Decided to put a little more into the market today. Current allocation 40G, 20C, 20S, 20I.

I previously said I would try to make the IFT on my iphone. There was some question about whether it was possible to do. I can confirm that I was able to make my IFT using Safari on the iphone.

I'm fearful of putting back into any of the stock funds because we've been on an updraft now for a while. How long can this roller coaster go back up?

April has historically been the best month of the year for the market. With all the short hairs out there we could easily run deep into May.

I'm back after a week off work. MAN I could get used to not working!:D Where's my lotto ticket?;)

Hope everyone is doing well. The market is pretending it's the little engine that could, but there is a long way to go before we are in a true recovery.

There is one thing of which I am certain. This country is less safe now than we were previously, thanks to the President's unilateral nuclear disarmament policy.

Looks like I will have to have my gun beside me at all times now. My wife doesn't like me to carry all the time, but she'll have to get over it. Need to get me a smaller, more concealable one now that the weather is warming up.

I fear for my kids. They can't carry a gun and I'm always afraid someone will take them to get at me. I wish our leadership would wake up and allow us to do what it takes to protect our country.

Or my personal favorite the G29 in 10mm. The nurses say its alot harder to fix two holes than one. :D

Can't go wrong with a Glock 26 or 27, aka the "baby Glocks." Very concealable...With your B&Cs you can get one in the low $400 range...Stay safe, brother.
We're allowed to carry the G26. I'd prefer the G27, because it's .40 cal, but I'll have to get the one they won't fire me for carrying. I'm also looking at the S&W 442 in .38 Special. We use +p rounds in those. Most guys I know that have that one don't like it that much, so I'll probably go with the G26.

I have a G27 that I carry IWB, with a DeSantis Cozy Partner. Peppy Caliber. G26 is nice also, daughter carries that, with same holster, though their are a couple of nice ankle holsters out their, but you're more aware of them than me. They are a little thick though. Take care.

Interesting decision from the SCOTUS regarding animal cruelty videos. I'm not sure I agree with this decision, though I understand their position. The videos will definitely be useful in prosecuting people accused in animal cruelty cases though. It's hard to believe people actually do this kind of thing for pleasure.

I hate looking at those photos. Those people should be treated the same way they treated the animals. They are sickos, for lack of a term that won't get me banned.

My agency is discussing off duty firearms situations, trying to come up with a policy for off duty firearms( i.e. so we'll be considered in the scope of our employment with our personal firearm). I'd stick with the same caliber as your issued firearm so you can use the same ammo. I may get one of the baby glocks as my 22 is pretty big.

After 15+ yrs in BOP, I've ran across many inmates full of 9mm holes. The most I've seen in one inmate is 9. I have yet to see one full of .45 or 10mm holes... They're where they belong, in the ground! :D

When my husband was in law enforcement, he used a specially built shoulder holster and a suit coat specially tailored for the holster. You couldn't see the bulge at all. Didn't matter though. When it's 110 degrees and you're the only one in a suit coat ....

This is a sad story. I feel bad for all involved including their parents.

The stupid son of a bitch would have displayed more courage just shooting himself - why take the lives of innocents. There is no reason for that cowardice behavior - may he burn in hell forever.

I just came back to erase my last post -- but too late to edit.

Sorry everyone ~~ was a terrible way to start the day.

Looks like it's time to put a bit more into the market. Current allocation 50G, 20C, 20S, 10I. Good luck everyone.
