Something is stirring tonight. Nikkei is down 2.5% tonight, China's Shanghai is off 4%, Dow futures are down 281.

So much for my plan of starting the month invested.

Wow! Nikkei closed down 3.84%. Europe down 2%. US futures also down 2%. Thank GOD I am in the G fund!

Today's bar filled Friday's gap but it opened another one (red). Currently 195.39, 193.86 would fill it.

The Nikkei is down about 800-points in their early session. -4%.

It ended down "just" 471-points or 2.5%.

Our market seems unaffected at the moment. Let's hope it ends up in a positive position.

Nothing to miss, not yet in bear market (aka 20% from high).

The Transports have rallied handsomely since the August lows, but now comes the big test. The 50-day moving averages are being tested now, all of which have failed within days over the last several months.

The S&P 500 broke below its flag, although it opened a big gap that may need attention.

The small caps had a more defined bear flag, but surprisingly it has not broken yet.

Either way, both failed at the 50-day EMA.
