The -0.15 area ... what does that mean?

It means FV for today. It might be -20 instead of -0.15

I am almost sure that the majority of the famous "3000" are here.
I am almost sure that the majority of the famous "3000" are posting their moves here.
I am almost sure that they are watching what we are doing and saying here ..
I am almost sure that the FV's are not the way they use to be (math, logic and guessing do not apply anymore).

I have a hunch that someone is looking at the volume of transactions submitted at noon and based on that information and at their discretion they are withholding or applying FV's at the end of the day. e.g. Yesterday (1/9/08) there was a significant number of TSPeers moving out of the I-Fund. No FV was given when there should have been one (+22 to 26).

I am not sure how posting the estimate can alter their decision. On the same token if at 3:30 or at 4:00 pm 350z posts an FV estimate, what difference does it make? It is already past noon and there is nothing we can do with that information, except to feel good about it until it officially posted at the TSP website.

Good luck to all!

TSPGO,

I've been looking at your charts ... can you tell me what you're using for the SMA-1 and SMA-2? Also, how are you going about computing the slope? Are you using the straight price data or are you running it through a smoother first? (I'm a mathematician, so don't be afraid to speak math to me :D )

The letters are here!.

I am just sorry I did not make all the IFT's I needed to make in December and January.

I have about two more to go before February comes in.

Good luck!

Lighting up a little
Going 50% G, 50% I

[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,Monaco]We are within range of a sell signal in the S-Fund and the I-Fund. We will look to sell any day this week. The S&P 500 is consolidating between 1300 and 1400. Moving downward is expected. The medium term target is 1200. 1300-(1400-1300)=1200. Getting out of stocks (C, S, and I ) would be highly recommended if any of these conditions happen.

Good luck!

Continue reducing position in stocks:
50% G, 25% F, 25% I

Would you tell us where on the TSP Go webpages we can find your changes in time to follow?

The moves are posted on the main page. They are usually posted the night before and last minutes changes by 11:00 AM. I post them before I post them here.

They are posted above the I-Fund and the S-Fund current signals. Above the I-Fund current signals you find my current position: (HR)25% I, 25% F, 50% G). Due to the IFT limitations the HR and the 5-5-10 Rule moves should be the same.

At approximately 11:00 am today we will be considering moving 25% back to the I-Fund. It would depend on the market response to Mr. B's bla, bla bla.

Thank you for asking.

Good luck!

Will move to 100% G today. If the USM continues its decline today the OSM will follow tomorrow. If the OSM goes down tomorrow, I will consider buying 50% I-Fund before noon tomorrow.

Good luck!

Going 50% G, 25% S and 25% I instead of 50% I.

Will continue to DCA on Monday if market continues to go down. Rember, we are in WAIT territory.

Good luck!

Will continue DCA on Tuesday if market goes down. Use caution, C, S and I are in WAIT territory.

PM Question:
Ok I have a delima, I was in the 2040 to wait out the market but,I think it is going to suprise us all. I am looking for some direction and am wondering if 2040 is the best way to go or divide a small amount in to the c,s,I funds. This week is going to be a rather large issue becasue of the reports coming out. Can you give some helpful direction in which way would be a more positive alternative than the 2040. I realize that the final decision is my responsibility.
What a market and the downs are more negative than the ups but, there must be a better fund transferyet, I have to watch the limit TSO has set. I now, have two more to go before they say something. Currently 100% g fund as of today.
Thanks,

All indicators are pointing down. The market is currently trending. The S&P 500 is trending between 1300 and 1400. Downward breakout is expected and would offer a (medium-term) target of 1300-(1400-1300)=1200. If it falls below 1310-1300 the next stop is 1200. Staying out of stocks (C, S, and I ) is highly recommended.
This market is going down. It is just a matter of when. If the S&P falls below 1300, all bets ar off. The best position at this time is where you are. Holding G. As for me, I am Down Cost Avereging (DCA) expecting that the market should rebound to 1360-1380 one more time before going below 1300. So it is risky move and it is not for everybody.

All the TSPGO signals are pointing down. The wise thing to do is to stay out of stocks (C, S, and I) and wait for a BUY signal. The risky thing to do is to hope for the last leg up.

Good luck!

30% G, 35% S, 35% I

Will continue DCA on Tuesday if market goes down. Use caution, C, S and I are in WAIT territory.

10% G, 45% S, 45% I

The S&P is approaching the bottom. It should rebound from here for that last leg up. And then the collapse to the 1200's!

Good luck!

Are you anticipating moving fully into G by Thursday's noon deadline or do you see staying in stocks for Friday and the weekend?

I will just have to patiently wait for the collapse. There is just to much bad news out there. Still sitting on 100% G and collecting my penny weekly.
