The I-Fund received an FV of 0.14. FV's are usually corrected the following day. High Risk will move 70% to the I-Fund to take advantage of the correction. High Risk will move back to the G-Fund by the end of the week. Seasonality has it down tomorrow then up on Friday. After that is everybody's call..

Hmm...I was curious as to if you would change your mind after the HighRisk post I saw this morning combined with what the I fund is doing today.

As of 2/2/07 we went back to 90% F, 5% S, 5%I

Reason: Although there is nothing bearish about making new highs, seasonality and overextended C, S, and I call for caution for the days ahead.

ASIA = All green
Europe = All green
Dollar = Down

USM Future = Up (+140)

Everything is pointing up all over.

In my humble opinion, those invested in c, S, and I should seize the opportunity to bail out today (short term), because the graphs appear to indicate that things are turning.

TSPGO! HR will continue to hold its current position for at least one more day, (90% F, 5%S and 5%I) before gravitating toward the G-Fund.

In Case you Have the Same Question..

Question:

I wanted to ask you a quick question. I am new to this watching the TSP and I lurk here and watch your signals at tspgo.com. I'm confused because you had a signal to Buy F, yet your allocations for feb 15/16 didn't put any into the F fund. I did move some into F and made a bit of a gain, but am I missing something in terms of your buy/sell signals and what to IFT?

Answer:
TSPGO! has two allocations, the 5-5-10-S Rule and the High Risk. These allocations are aggressive in nature and differ from the buy signals generated by each individual fund. A signal generated by a fund does not imply a change in the allocations. The fund signals would be for someone who is concentrated in a single fund.

Please go to the main page where the TSPGO allocations are and click on the link (Click Here for more Details). Please read the entire page to read about the criteria needed to trigger an IFT in the allocations (Buy signal, strength, and sesoanality).

We are not there yet. We should see a buy signal by Friday at the latest.

Good luck!

I'm been observing your moves since you first started posting here. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems as of laterly your not following the 5-5-10 rule like you use to?:confused:

Sometime in 2006 we added the "SLOPE" chart as the trigger for the main buy signal of the 5-5-10 S Rule. It came about because we became aware that the 5-5-10 Rule gave excellent results during an uptrend market and got out early during a downtrend. However, during consolidation or trending times it lost money because it was in a chasing mode. To make it profitable regardless of market conditions, the main buy signal is triggered by the slope and the sell signal is triggered by the 5-5-10 Rule.

This time around because of the big drop in the market we gave a buy signal one day ahead of time. Trying to outsmart the signals costed us almost 2%.

Thank you for asking.

On Travel Status.

Unable to perform IFT´s. We will hold our current positions.

Good luck to all!

Due to unexpected travel status the week of March 11, 2007, there were no updates since then. While we were gone C, S and I triggered separate sell signals.

We will continue holding our current positions (100% I for the 5-5-10-S Rule and 50% S, 50% I for the HR) until we get another sell signal.

Good luck to all!

Our indicators are telling us that there is plenty of room to continue going up. This is only the first count of the 5-5-10-S Rule (see charts at www.tspgo.com ). However, things can go either way on Wednesday and Thursday. So let's break the rule and take half of the "I" profit off the table.

Good luck!

i noticed you posted a change on the website to move the high risk to 80G 10S and 10I but you have not updated your move in the high risk account thread or in your tsp talk thread

We are getting out one day before the 5-5-10-S Rule triggers a sell signal (C, S, and I). Just being a little bit more conservative than we should. We will be waiting for a main buy signal before getting back in.

HR = 80% G, 10% S, 10% I
5-5-10-S Rule = 95% G, 5% I

Good luck!

It appears as if I missed to press the "Submit Reply" icon. Unless there is a major change in the market today, the difference should be minimal.

Thank you.
