Holiday Cheer
It was another positive week for stocks and the TSP stock funds last week. We are really seeing what holiday seasonal trading can look like, and while the gains weren’t tremendous, the bears did seem to take their vacations a little early.
For the shortened holiday week, the C-fund added 1.07%, the S-fund gained 1.26%, and the I-fund picked up 1.57%. Bonds (F-fund) were off 0.19%, and the G-fund picked up 0.04%.
The month of December continues to roll with the C-fund now up 6.59%, the S-fund gaining 7.50%, and the I-fund up 7.27%. The F-fund is down 1.62%, and the G-fund is up 0.15%.
I won’t go into too much analysis during this holiday weekend, but as we have been saying in our daily commentary, the indicators are very stretched and looking for a pullback, but the strong holiday seasonality remains strong for another week.
