WTF... What is this all about?

Now I have no idea exactly what I just signed up for and who is obligated to what! I assumed it was 20 rounds at approximately $400 in mid Feb.

Danny
You're locked in, Danny. ($15.92 + $4) * 20.

Any future orders will be spot + $4 - with a possible $20 min. since I'd just as soon hold onto them if silver falls below $16 again.

another thing i am going to with one of my tsptalk silver coins is play 'quarters' with it. you know, that old game you used to play in high school? where you place a glass of beer in the center of the table and if you bounce the coin into it then you get to pick who has to drink it?

other variations include nose quarters where you have to roll the coin off your forehead down your nose and land it in the glass. or the ever popular strip quarters where in addition to chugging the glass of beer you also get to remove an article clothiing. if you've never played don't worry, you'll learn fast, things get easier as the game progresses.

Speaking of nose quarters, I had a high school friend who could fit 3 quarters in one nostril. Pretty gross now that I think about it.

and another thing...

i don't even like the $15.92 part. i wish tom had bought at exactly $16.00. $16 +$4 = $20 per ounce x 30 ounces = $600 even. much better. i am not writing tom a check for $597.60, i'm sending him $600 even. if everybody did that tom would get an extra $40 on a $10,000 transaction. after paying for the dies himself, swinging the whole purchase himself, and committing to ship it out individually to interested parties. peanuts. any more nitpicky than that rails against my common sense and makes my head hurt. $0.08 x 30 = $2.40. that's not even enough to buy a 24 oz. can of cheap beer. cheers tom, this one's on me, i hope you don't mind coor's light.

Put that way, I'm more inclined to give Tom a post-Christmas thankyou present by sending a round-figure check (($16+4) x 10) for my 10, considering I can't stand Curs light, or even Curs regular for that matter. gimme a draft craft anyday even if I have to pay a little more. Just means I won't buy as many bottles as I might otherwise.

Doesn't hurt that other nearterm critical demands on my ready cash lightened up a lot more in the past couple days. Real thanksgiving sense of family relief on that front. puts me in more of a Christmas state of mind. Thanks Tom for going out on the limb for fronting the purchase. glad you were able to get in under $16, all the same.

I like round numbers too.., I guess its the Libra in me.., Im down with 16.00 . Cant wait for them to arrive, so exciting it is...

Maybe spin the bottle, but beer quarters in high school? Really? :worried: I must have been a saint. :D

more things i am going to do my shiny new taptalk silver when i get it: give it away.

i already committed to pay uscfan 1 ounce from my stash for bookkeeping.

i already committed to pay tsproullete 1 for his funny and timely youtubes and music videos.

and somewhere on another thread i bet someone else, i forget who, that so and so would or would not be the next president or nominee or something like that but i forget who or where. the best thing that that person could do is keep their mouth shut until if they win then remind me. but if the candidate in question turns out to not be nominee or president, then i am going to search old posts until i find out who i made that bet with and remind them they owe me. but i wish they would just remind me now so i can quit wondering.

this is business not politics here so let's not get off track, but of my 30 coins it looks like i better reserve 10% or 3 coins to give away.

another thing i am going to do with one of my shiny new tsptalk silver coins is use it as a poker coin or card guard. you know, that marker you put on top of your hole cards to protect your hand so the dealer don't sweep them away when you're holding the nuts.

I have approved the mold, they've had all my money for about 2 weeks now, so now it's a matter of waiting. They have a reputation for being a little slow, but I think burro said we can expect a February delivery. I didn't want to bug them too much since I did that during the design phase :) but I should probably send them an email and ask for status updates.
