well usercue finished 2nd, because he cheated. then konkuzon won 1st, but only because he cheated more. winter finished a solid 3rd after playing a very tight game. attitude was 4th and was totally unlucky. but not as unlucky as me who went out in 5th place.

You should save the Buffalo Trace for AFTER the tourney.

i am scheduling that timeslot on mondays as the second weekly game that will from now on count for tsp poker club points. all games eastern time at 20:00. sit for both, one, or none as your schedule allows.

times or days can be changed if enough members request it.

yeah, i call that my 'broken wing' strategery, like when a momma bird distracts the predators by pretending she is weak and injured to save her babies. but next week all you little chicks is on your own now, fly or die.

hmmm... my statement is not untrue.

buying into and sitting down at a tourney = playing, a quick check of the bankroll and transaction history will indicate winter played this game.

not making a single loose bet or chasing any weak hands = very tight play, a review of hand histories will confirm this is what occurred.

a look at the club standings shows winter played the game last night and finished 3rd.

anyways, it was real and it was fun. i look forward to playing again next week, all are welcome (but i think we have enough armchair lawyers for now).

actually, this is not an uncommon internet poker strategy, if you play enough you will see it regularly. some folks buy in and sit out while a large part of the field eliminate themselves. sometimes they sit back in later and roll it to the money. sometimes they never sit in and make the money anyways. it is one way to play this poker game. there are lots of ways to play this poker game. good luck at the tables.

well dang it, i almost went broke again. i am horrible at bankroll management.

i got up to almost a million free play money chips and then i got bored. so i played some games outside my 20x buying bankroll rule and them jerks got lucky on me. so i played some bigger games to make my money back and them jerks got even more lucky on me. so then i played a monster tourney and those folks just plain ole kicked my ass fair and square.

so i am hanging out in the low rent trailer park sit n goes again.

that's poker. but i was almost a hero.

good luck with the red space suit, b. as for poker chips, perhaps a wee misunderstanding on account of this here novice player about stats. thought you had said I moved up in standing due to playing Sunday night, which I most certainly did not sit down and play that night.

If you are saying I somehow moved up in standing by sitting down Monday night to play heads up with a guy that I already knew doesn't like to play heads up, played one round, won small pot, had opponent take leave of absence with no indication of when the game would restart, decided no point in waiting around indefinitely wondering, left, and then get told a couple days later I moved up in standing?

I'm a simple girl, thought you were teasing me or being ironic for some reason. so I decided to straighten what I thought was my tourney attendance and achievement record and tease right back. splat. guess this poker is a lot more complicated than I thought. apologies to the b for being a slow learner.
