reminder: in about an hour at 8:00 pm eastern time there is a 'funsies' tournament scheduled, and anybody is welcome to play. it does not count for 'season' points.
also i have had a few express interest and i sent out the invite codes, but have not yet got a request to join within the pokersite software yet so maybe we will have some new members come aboard. get it while it's hot! (it's always hot).

more good play tonight, very fast learners and a tough crowd. i was kicking butt again, until i donked it all off. i do that sometimes.
sunday tournaments are for keeps, the points count towards standings, but the best way to play is to learn, if you are not sitting in these games then you are behind the curve, you will not find this level of play at free money tables with strangers. get in the game.

Past two days of an intense criminal trial, longstanding family feud, both right, both wrong, only one charged and found guilty. sad horrible story. followed by half day of conference call, fighting headache since midday. practice and chip earnings will have to wait for a better day, maybe this weekend. perhaps.

jury duty? pffft, this is poker and you guys need to get your priorities straight. jury duty is nothing like cards and lawyers suck at poker because they think nobody can lie as good as them, just because they get paid for it does not mean they are getting my chips. (well, actually they were gata, cue, kuz, and dog's chips, but they're mine now).
we have a new member which brings the club up to 11 folks, although no more than 6 have sat down together at the same time. but i think we might see some more hands at the table this sunday sunday sunday. don't be shy now.

for those of you in the club who may have turned off email notifications, i scheduled a 'fun' (not 'keeps' does not count for season points) tournament for this evening, saturday feb 06 at 8 pm.
it is a game of HORSE, you remember when you where a kid and you would play horse at the basketball court in the playground with your friends where everybody takes a different shot and if you can't make it then you get a letter like hangman until you are out? well, this is nothing like that, except for the out part.
HORSE is a mixed rotating game of holdem, omaha hi/lo, razz (lowball 7 stud), 7 stud hi, and 7 stud hi/lo, all games are limit not no-limit. it is really easy to play and very hard to win, unless you can count in 4 dimensions and have a computer in the top button of your suitcoat or else are a total degenerate gambler. it can help you to begin thinking of cards in a different way, also it can help you learn new cuss words and to dislike you fellow lucky jerkwad players.
i had another serious friday night poker misadventure where i build up my chipstack all week and then on the weekend a bunch of luck mofo's steal all my dognam chips and i went broke again. i haven't seen a flush in days, can't catch a dang ace in a race to save my life, and all my small pairs get drawn out on so i am a little tilted. and broke. again.
anyways, hope to see you there tonight. also, the weekly for 'keeps' season tournament no limit holdem game is still on for tomorrow night, sunday feb 07 at 8 pm eastern.
