it appears the beltway bunch got locked out of their cage, which maybe ain't a bad thing, except they departed in such a hurry that all the chips got left on the table in the casino.

now, casino management assures me they'd like to return everybody's assets, except the auditor can't make sense of the missing cooked books. the only fair thing it seems is to liquidate and distribute the revenue evenly, via an open bar, free buffet, and a rockin house band, to each according to their needs.

as an affiliated organization, the jail has offered to host this party free of charge, until the juice runs out or you pass out. but, please, keep a lid on it, this is a respectable place, we got rules here.

and don't forget to thank the players for their generous and involuntary donation.

folks i got some bad news, it appears the auditor can't make no sense of the books over here either. it turns out their were some duplicate id's doled out, and a whole lot of cards on backorder for which payment was recieved but no discernible action taken. i regret to inform you that the gootspjf cards will not be issued. but you can rest assured your full $0 purchase price will be returned on account, you know, on a count of moral bankrutpcy. let the liquidation proceedings begin.

Thanks for the party idea, BC! I haven't been to a Friday night party since ... well, never mind.

I know there weren't many chips in that pot to buy goodies with, so I brought some lemon poppyseed quickbread. And if you'd rather have the almond flavor, here is some Di Saronno. And last but not least, some Bud for the Captain of this team.


Well, hmmmmm, this is my usual luck. Got to the party late and the only one who is here is the janitor with the push broom. We'll miss you, Captain.

Hey Burro, why don't you take your watch for a spin around the cell block? I know it's water resistant and all but just don't drop the soap! :D
 
Nothing happened. It was a cool place to unwind and let loose. Lots of upright folks now a days that don't know how to have fun.
