i thought about that, but immediately recognized the ethical and moral conflicts that would cause me by stealing. also live in a town of 500 folks and there are no secrets. none. besides, i already asked the owners and the local telecom guy (who would also be the one to hook it up if i got it running again) so i will just have to keep pursuing legal means of aquisition.

I recall when people had 'thoughtful' political discussions and discussed the merits and drawbacks of various ideas and issues with mutual respect. Even if vigorous it was usually civil. Nowadays it's usually ' I'm right, you're wrong and here's why' type of exchanges. Maybe that's why Congress has been in gridlock mode for years. Sad.
