Perhaps you don't remember the back to back 480 point Dow moves in 7/02. Close to 1000 points in 3 days. I think participants are so depressed in this funk that we are ready to rock and roll. Close your eyes, hold your nose and jump. The bottom is already here-may have been seen. Greenspan will blink. My creed: What's easy to do is almost always the wrong thing to do. And what's hard to do is almost always what makes you money. If I turn out to be wrong all can giggle-but if I am correct catch me if you can. Dennis

S fund was 13.9 when you went to G. As of yesterday, it was 14.45. Nice job all knowing one.....................that's almost 4% you've missed, how much you make in G?

Well looks my preliminary data is coming to fruition......depending on how severe the sell off we could be anywhere between 1160 and 1140's before taking a breather....

I expect to be getting in the S/C fund and bouncing around the F fund around this timespan......then we will wait for the big drop coming soon near you.....

Christmas is gonna besorry for alot of people this year I'm afraid.......lock everything up you have......you may just come home to stolen property.....the thieves already took my sons 4 wheeler that his granddad gave him last Nov.....hot wired it right out of the garage.....wife was in the kitchen and had talked to the thief just minutes before outside while planting flowers.....

So watch out they will be coming in different venues and avenues....

May the investing Gods be with us.......:^

Sorry about the loss of the 4 Wheeler - some poor soul probably needed it to get to the welfare office to get the latest check. Was it made in Japan, China or perhaps South Korea?

Anyway, what I found interesting about yesterday was the DJ Utility Average put in a new high for this cycle. That is a display of good relative performance and possibly a bullish divergence. I'm watching to see if any other major indexes break below their 90 day moving averages to confirm the Dow. I think many in the "herd" are currently watching the Fed and are out looking for yield. The 10 year is already in a small rally mode this morning bringing down the yield. We are in a yield shortage environment and they will only be less in yield in the future. If and when you finally decide to go into the C and S fund- don't be overly aggressive out the door - suggest taking your time and remain cautious. Kinda like Greg - no hurry please.

4 wheeler made in 1996, yamaha 250 4x4.....dang good one too! Great mileage, great footing, held a large load!!! Light weight as well!!!

If you could have seen my sons face when he asked where it was the night he came home......gotta get him a new one....we're going hunting soon!!!next time, they will have to carry it off.....

It's not the time to jump - we are to close to the Fed meeting. This downside may shake out the weak hands but not mine. The Utility Average is down only .01. Such relative strength - and that is a large market component. Will remain bullish.

Made comments about my interfund transfer to the F fund in the F Fund thread....:^

I expect to be in for 3-5 days.....it should outperform the G fund....I expect the G fund to change again around the 19th, so I might transfer from the F to G at that time if the F looks to have peaked out on Monday.....

I think I could actually keep up with the Yo-Yo market doing this at this time and have less risk....but we will see.....

I wil be watching for a rebound on the F fund...if it drops again I will probably pull out and consider other avenues later on.....giving that the C and S funds are doing well, I will probably wait for some reconcilliation before trading in and out....

Currently, I'm just looking for some gains while waiting for the C and S funds to make their short downward move

I'm well aware of the pull.....but you have to watch for the euphoria.....its when it gets you.....besides , I have data that tells me to keep my eyes wide open oand don't take too much risk.....:end: its the wrong time to be jumping in with both feet...

I can wait a while until things clear up.....its not a life killer, but a hard recovery thats the concern.....

Well the F fund hasn't made that run yet....guess we will have to wait it out some....Thought the CPI report today would be a good start, even with low inflation reporting , F just didn't get the move I thought it would have....mayb it will be by Monday.....

Have ya'll seen my likeness on a TV ad lately...:l.....you know, the one with I believe a king in the castle making some sort of noise about something (I didn't get to see what the commercial was about...could be bad for all I know)......truly a good character who looks just like my picture in my avatar.......:^

I haven't seen that AD, - but - I did watch `The Canterville Ghost' recently-

He was bewhisked, tho not as lavishly as yours .... and ... he certainly made a lot of noises , along with alot of lightening & thunder!
