The pics are all pointing to your C drive

What does that mean? You've mentioned it before - Is it related to me only getting white squares w/red X's?

Never commented much before, just been a quiet reader, observer, learner, but Tom sure made a brave move today. Me....just went 20% I.....can only put one toe in the water................

You'd have to elaborate for me to comment WW. You mean when to take your money out of stocks? Depends on the purpose of the investment, the investment horizon, if its for retirement and how long until you retire.

If you're asking about just market timing/day-to-day buying and selling, ask one of these other folks here. I'm one of those dumb people that doesn't what the market is going to do "tomorrow".

Want to hear a secret? No one knows. Those that "get it right" got lucky if you ask me. There's only 2 choices anyway (up or down), so its not exactly hard to guess right.

To that point, i saw an interesting study one time comparing typical stock mutual fund performanceto the s&p500 performance. On a one year basis, 40% or so beat the index (the reason it wasn't perfectly 50% is because of fund expenses such as the management fee). On two years, half of that beat it both years. On 3 years, half of that beat it for all 3 years. And so on and so forth..... What's peculiar about those resultsis that's exactly the same results you'd get if every fund manager just randomly bought stocks and none of the managers actually had any "skill" picking them. At the very least, it certainly makes one think does anyone have a clue and are the so-called super managers we put on a pedistle just ones that are very lucky (good coin tossers).
