I'm thrilled with the fundtracker that Fundsurfer sent me!

Now, for the same old question that I never understood the answer to because of all the confusion!

Let's say I move everything to the C fund on July 1, placing the IFT before noon EST on July 1.

On the fundtracker, do I show 100 C on July 1 or July 2?

moved to 100c before 1200 est 7/1/05.

Your fundtracker will reflect 1 Jul 05 as the last day you will be from your previous fund. So, if you were 100g before that moving to 100c, you will then get the fund price for 1 Jul 05 and place it as your last day for 100g.

You should put"current" for your 100c. You should continue to put current until you decide to move again and you should just repeat that process over and over again.

Actually, that comment doesn't sit well with me. It suggest that Pyriel and I would fudge numbers to satisfy bragging rights. (I probably would given the right inducement.) But the trades are posted publicly and only Tom can edit post after a few hours, so what's the point?

Greg, like I said in my post, I didn't really get a chance to look for new additions to the Tally this month due to lack of time. Sounds like Pyriel added you to his tracker and you'll be in next months list. Your May returns should show up as well. It wasn't an intentional slight.

I added him into the tracker but I am not sending it to him. Fundsurfer gets it and compiles it for monthly report. Do you still want me to take you off the mail list? I think you misunderstood what I had said.

DMA, Thanks for the clarification. I was really offended with that remark. I am sure that other posters will be able to tell you how strict I am with following people's moves. To the point that a couple of them have stopped posting due to my constant follow up about the need to post in time or not to quarterback. I only do this to help people and for intrinsic reward. I feel that I have learned enough to be on my own to leave this site but I stay because I was once ignorant about the market and this site had provided me the tools to at least somewhat understand it.

All, As for the bickering that is happening here, I propose for posters who would like to continue doing that to post in other section of this board. People would like to learn by going through posters' account talk and account. It is really making my job harder to track everyone because of this due to the fact that I not only have to track peoples moves (and there are quite alot of you) but I also have to now edit people's account talk so that newbies can learn from other people. Just to inform you all, I am now taking more time deleting unnecessary posts than tracking people. So if my tracker that I provide Fundsurfer at the end of the month is messed up, please be kind enough to know what is going on that may have caused that to happen.
I am not directing this to certain personnel but merely trying to have you all to see my point of view. Thanks for helping me keep the the account talk and account clean as much as possible. Pyriel

Pryiel I pmed you my concerns on a number of occasions thatthat I was having problems with my posts being changed. Once again with the other thread being cleaned up my post is really really stupid. A issue moved over to this thread from there. It was wrong of me to post what I did .

In no shape our form was that direct at you two fellahs.

We appreciate all your hard work.

Glad you are learning and feel confident with your investing.

When private accounts come through you are going to need all the knowledge you can get. Because if you do not do well in the market your future may be under a bridge. Not to be negative but that is where this is heading.
