We talk and learn to manage our funds ourselves. None of the members to my knowledge are licensed financial advisors. Surely don't want the SEC after us.

These guys have helped me a lot. Everyone has their own methods,but it seems most give sage advice. Like SPAF says "nobody here are actual financial advisors"Take care, thanx for the reply.

Personally, Not really! But I like to see what others are doing to get any new ideas.

Plus I find some comic relief in some people...they make me laugh when they get on each other.

CSRS max % contribution from begining of TSP (was 5% for a long time). Now10% + catch up. Since there is no matching in CSRS I may drop down the TSP contribution to fund a Roth IRA, a way to diversify fund sources in retirement.
